And you shouldn't. But for people buying into AM5, waiting for the second generation of motherboards is generally better. Prices of the first gen boards comes way down and the feature sets of the new boards tend to be more mature.

Jumping in this thread.
I think my 11 yr old mobo is toast. You guys helped me build my first rig that long ago.
Should I replace the mobo or use this opportunity to full on upgrade?
Ideas? I believe everything else is in working order

Full specs, every part. We'll need that to know what can be salvaged, cost for replacing the board, whether it's worth it based on usage case, etc. Which, speaking of, what do you use it for?
ETA: Honestly, I think you should make a separate thread. You'll get more eyeballs that way and you'll be able to find it more easily for late reference.

Having a wifi issue with my son’s current PC and want to make sure it’s not an issue going forward. He consistently has near full bars but it’s still incredibly laggy for games like Roblox and makes it impossible to play Fortnite.

Those numbers look perfectly fine. I can’t imagine that an extender would help the situation.
I’ll echo a previous suggest that I would start looking at anti-virus/firewall as potential issues.
