Yeah it's exciting, will be interesting to see when the pcie5 drives finally drop what that ~14K nearly double to 2.5x of old gen can do with it.

That new Sabrent Gaming Gen4 sees incredible results and is now the top dog for gen4 storage instantly. Can only imagine with nearly double the bandwidth on pcie5 what that tech is gonna do. Smooth as butta with no dips at all.

There isn't much difference between the loading times. Streaming could be a big thing, but consoles will still hold it back. It's a ps6 and xbox what the ever they're gonna call it thing. Next gen.

What do you AMD guys use to verify your PBO2/Curve Optimizer Stability?
I've been playing with my 5700x the last few weeks since installing it, and I can get down to -28 on all cores, and set my 2 best to -25, and its stable in every day use and gaming, but when I go to Core Cycler or Prime 95, my best core only gets stable at -7, which seems like a crazy big shift.

It’s honestly frustrating as shite, and there’s no real good answer. To the point that I don’t mess with it much anymore. I just set the worst known good value (usually -5 to -7), set that to all cores, and move on with life. Just not worth the aggravation for me.

Got the front end and filter for the 5000D for my case to make it an airflow in the front. Also ordered an RMX 850 switch while I was at it.
The only things left are the cpu and mobo.

To jump from a 4070 to 4080 it's $500 and then another $500 to jump from a 4080 to 4090.

And the 4070 is a huge disappointment. I'd just find a previous gen with a 3080 or 3080ti honestly

The upgraded liquid cooling wouldn't be an option on an older model, unfortunately.
Would be nice if there was an option for a 3080 instead. I'd probably go for that like you said.
