how many of you guys are crypto miners? i'm trying out the nicehash method and i do have my afterburner settings set right (except for the core voltage because it's grayed out / not sure how to ungray it).
according to nicehash, my gpu overheats nearly every 10 seconds and is put on a cooldown. is that normal for something like that to happen so often?
I just started a few days ago using this guide:

It was easier than I thought to get going. And just copying this guy's OC settings I'm getting 62.5 MH/s with my 3070, after speeding up the fan curve some. It still drops off some, so I don't have it all figured out yet.

I'm at 60% power, minimum core, +1100 mem and I'm at 63mh with my 3070. Pulling like 125w
Fan steady at 45% and I never get over 50C

Dayum
I'm at 60% power, +90 core, +1500 mem; ~62.6 mh/s at 132w. With custom fan curve, it's sitting at 74% right now and GPU temp is 47°C.
Sounds like I need to drop the core clock?

Everything is on the way except my MOBO/CPU.
waiting for fresh shipment of x570 so hopefully they have the new BIOS flash and I dont have to deal with it.
LINK
I know i overpayed on most to simply have it now, and have it white, but frick it, I only wanted to spend 4 and only went to 4200.
ETA that is not the mouse/keyboard I went with, just the same price points so i can keep within budget.

Don't buy that headset. Get a Steel Series Arctis 7. And damn son did you overdo it or what?

I had the sennheiser game ones, and they were better than the steel series to me.. this is the newer version of those.
Def overkill on the CPU, but I talked myself out of the 5950 and 6900XT.
I wanted to go all white like this, no RGB please.

That will look nice. What monitor? I have the 49" Samsung Oddysey which would match your color scheme and I love it. Great widescreen gaming and for work I can put up a spreadsheet, browser and a Word document side by side by side and easily work on and see all three.

I have both the Arctis 7 and the Game Ones he has right now. The Sennheisers are worlds better than the Arctis 7s. I do prefer the Arctis 7s over Senn's wireless ones though. Sennheiser just needs to make a wireless version of the Game Ones using that same exact design, no changes at all to the design and layout, just electronics. Those are the most comfortable headphones to exist. Even the new versions aren't as comfortable as those. They took a step back with the new design.

Thank you for that info, I Actually broke my game ones after 3 years. Was going to purchase the GSP 600, but will just reorder the same Game Ones. Absolutely love that headphone, just figured this might be a better option since its newer.
