Use DDU to uninstall AMD drivers and reinstall those as well just in case.

That's all you need as long as you installed the drivers and everything, it's all one package.

DDU appears to have done the trick. Same issue arose with Black ops 4. Fixed now. Thanks UH.

Thinking of getting this monitor for $700 during prime day just for work.

Have a 34 curved now and just want more real estate but I am worried about 1080 stretched out on a 49" screen. What do you guys say?

Yea LG has a 43" in 1440p for the same price I will probably go with. My 34" is LG 1440p and I like it. Just need a little wider, though.

benchmarks seem to be running fine. i'm thinking it's just me buying a new card and all the drivers suck for it right now. that and no support from developers.

here's my results form the 3DMark demo.

I ended up buying a PSU and GPU. The PSU I had was quite old and had no optional cables.

Sadly, my PSU died in about 12 hours. Everything works on old PSU (I did test after PC wouldn't turn on again after new parts). I even got a Corsair 850W Gold Certified thinking I'd be good on it.

Picked up the Thermaltake 850 watt 80 plus gold POSU for $74 on prime day yesterday.

Now have 2 pieces to my new build:

512gb Inland premium nvme SSD (PCI Gen 3.0 x4)
850w Thermaltake 80+ Gold PSU

Was looking to get a case but didn't pull the trigger on the 680x for $199 on amazon. Think I may just get a PC-o11 dynamic for like $120 instead.

Decided to pull the trigger late on the 680x for $199, figured it did include 4 fans (3 RGB) which the o11 doesnt include any, and also seems the 680x cools a bit better. Also picked up the $99 H100i pro deal. Thought about the Platinum w/ RGB fans for $20 more but saw the performance was notably worse than H100i pro...weird, so I just got the H100i pro.

Build now:

Case: Corsair Crystal Series 680X RGB
PSU: Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB 850W 80+ Gold
Storage: 512GB Inland Premium NVMe 3.0 x4 M.2 SSD
Cooler: Corsair H100i Pro 240mm AIO

CPU, MoBo RAM and Graphics. I keep going back and forth between z390/9700k and X570/3600. First will game better, but I can get nice discounts with the X570/3600 and a 5700XT through microcenter ($50 off board and 5700 XT).

Heck no, for that price I'd just pick this up:
55" Samsung NU8000

4k@60hz with VRR 48hz-60hz
1440p and 1080p @ 120hz with VRR 20hz-120hz

Gets bright AF, supports HDR, local dimming and has a wide color gamut.

i'm worried about my GPU "overheating". just ran the Superposition benchmark at 1080p Extreme and that sucker got up to 93*C.

finally got the system to play games today. the drivers for 5700 xt have been pretty shotty since release apparently.
