If you're looking for Prime Deals today, be sure to check out that product listing on camelcamelcamel.com. It tracks pricing history of Amazon sales.

Stupid. 144hz or 1440p, or get both to be a part of the real elite

I just got that last one for $125.99. 1080p/144hz. Hope it lasts with it being a Viewsonic.

Meh, we’ve got a few floating around here at work. The reviews were iffy but they were more positive than negative.

are you going to go ahead and remove the thermal pad from your gpu or are you gonna wait to see how it performs with your usage first?

I've actually heard of Viewsonic, but I don't have any experience with them.

It's just one of those generic type brands. Very popular in the low to mid-range monitor space.

I'm doing some stock benching and thermal testing now and then will remove it tonight and retest for comparisons if I have time. If not I'll do it tomorrow.

i've got a newb question. why do i have 2 power ports on the gpu? a 2x4 and a 2x3. my psu only has (2)2x4 vga ports, a (1)2x3 perif port, and (2)2x4 sata ports. i assume i don't need the sata ports because i didn't by an sata ssd/hdd. i got a m.2 sdd.

Not yet, apparently the new Auto Undervolt in Wattman does a great job.

You know what make me sad though? Seeing just how much my 8700K has lost from my tests over a year ago pre-security patches. I could hit 23K at 5.2GHz, second test so far and it can't get out of the middle 21's.
