Return it or try to resell it.
You cant go wrong with browns tbh. I love my wireless G613 with romer G switches. Not quite the cherry feel, but really close
Edit: for your first mech, I wouldn't get a $100+ keyboard. Get something cheap to see what you like, and then upgrade from there

Coyote you still have that x79 MSI board? I need to start OCing this xeon, but this shitty motherboard doesn't have OCing support

Agreed. I'd spend the money on the mouse and headset.

That looks fun. I love those boxes they put those components in. I feel like a kid when I get stuff like that.
I've been looking at videos on SSHD vs SSD vs NVME and there really isn't much difference at all between SSD and NVME in load times for games or anything else. When is it really beneficial for that performance?

I plan on keeping one of the 1700s and mobos for my server with the 32gb of ram in the pic, I'm going to keep the 3 drives, and I'm selling everything else. Should still make a nice profit
Posted on 5/29/19 at 10:37 am to bluebarracuda
Where did you get all that?
Posted on 5/29/19 at 10:52 am to bluebarracuda
I need to start getting on that

Weird, Reds are definitely the most popular gaming switches by a large margin.
I don't like anything but Reds.
My only complaint was how loud they are, but cherry took care of that with the new silent Reds. Same feel but half the noise level.

For people looking for a "gaming" switch, sure, but I see far more people referring blues across all the communities

Even within the gaming community, blues are referred more.

I don't think so. I rarely see Blues.

Lol yeah no thanks, is that actually correct? $600 for a mobo? Hard pass.
He said "roughly $600" and that pricing isn't locked in.

And that mobo pricing is bringing me back to the good ole x79 days when the cheapest mobos were like $399

Not sure who they are targeting for that Xtreme board, but my guess is only extreme overclockers who LN2 and shite
Cause who the hell would buy a $600 board to pair with a Ryzen otherwise
I guess that 16 core is still around the corner, and we know the 12 core is $500 now, I imagine it'll be at minimum $600 itself, if not $700-$800 range.

I would guess $700-800 for sure, the threadripper 16 core first gen was $799 MSRP and 2nd gen $899 MSRP.
