Any recommendations for gaming keyboard and headset?

Finally deciding to upgrade from my 10+ year old dell mouse/keyboard and my cheapo walmart headset that's falling apart.

I ordered a Logitech G900 mouse and SteelSeries XL stitched cloth pad already.

I've never used a mechanical keyboard but looking forward to it. Went to bestbuy yesterday to check out different keys and I honestly think I could be happy with either the tactile, linear or blue clicky logitech keys. But, I think I want to go with the tactile, or something similar.

If you can stand the noise, I like the blues/razer greens the best.

What's your budget?

If I buy romer-g blues and a logitech headset, will it cancel out the noise when I'm talking?

Some dynamic mics like a vmoda boommic will do well against background noise.

Romer Gs are not my favorite.

Ducky one is amazing along with Glorious, Vortex, and Anne Pro.

For my money, I'd get a Ducky One 2 in Browns. Everyone can usually hear blues or razer greens.

Ducky

As far as headset, audio Technica m40x and vmoda boom mic

Let me know size of keyboard that you want. I have suggestions in almost all sizes. I think a keyboard is less important than the headphones and mouse.

My personal peripherals are Phillips shp9500s with vmoda boom mic, Anne pro 2 60% in gateron browns (I like better than cherry), final mouse air 58, g502, and glorious model O.

Check out that website for the ducky board. Find your price you want to pay for and you can ask all the questions you want.

Basically look for double shot pbt caps and the type of switches you want. Those are all good keyboards.

Reds and blacks were way too mushy for me, I tried to like them but couldn't get around to them

So what do you do with a $150 keyboard that you hate the switches on?

Return it or try to resell it.

You cant go wrong with browns tbh. I love my wireless G613 with romer G switches. Not quite the cherry feel, but really close

Edit: for your first mech, I wouldn't get a $100+ keyboard. Get something cheap to see what you like, and then upgrade from there

Agreed. I'd spend the money on the mouse and headset.

That looks fun. I love those boxes they put those components in. I feel like a kid when I get stuff like that.

I've been looking at videos on SSHD vs SSD vs NVME and there really isn't much difference at all between SSD and NVME in load times for games or anything else. When is it really beneficial for that performance?

I plan on keeping one of the 1700s and mobos for my server with the 32gb of ram in the pic, I'm going to keep the 3 drives, and I'm selling everything else. Should still make a nice profit
