If we're counting 3rd gen Ryzen then AMD for CPUs in any application or usage.
As for motherboards, I've only ever had MSI and Asus. Prefer my current Asus Z370 over the MSI one I had, but both are good so not a knock on MSI.
I think I am most likely getting the ASRock X570 Taichi for my 3900X. There is supposed to something like over 100 new mobos for X570, apparently manufacturers are in love with Ryzen 3 like seemingly everyone else.

ASRock and Gigabyte look to have the best offerings so far for x570.
I am not quite a fan of what Asus did for their z390 VRM configurations on their ROG series.

Motherboards:
1) ASRock
2) Asus
3) Gigabyte
I would say Asrock is more renown as the worst by most people, but I haven't had any problems

GPU (AMD):
1) Sapphire
2) MSI
3) Asus
GPU (Nvidia):
1) EVGA (and it’s not close)
2) MSI
3) Asus
Most of these are a wash for me (except EVGA probably has the best warranty of the bunch)

Hard Drives:
1) Samsung
2) Western Digital
3) Intel
Basically all a wash, I just stay away from high capacity seagate drives in consumer PCs (they're fine for server use)

Memory:
1) Kingston/HyperX
2) Corsair
3) GSkill
Ram is ram and I just buy the cheapest stuff for the speeds I want

ASRock has probably been the top mobo manufacturer for Ryzen.
Maybe their Intel stuff sucks though I have no idea.

Going back to the 1155 and 1150 days their top end stuff was usually junk compared to Asus, Gigabyte and MSI

Nah, their intel stuff has been great too. Their extreme4 series for z170 and above is one of the best price/performance boards for overclocking.
Supposedly their z390 Taichi was disappointing compared to their z370 version, but then again quite a few vendors z390 boards were disappointing.

Can’t speak to how they were back then, as I had Asus boards mostly, but most reviewers now consider them a top 3 brand.

Yep. Love my extreme 4 z370

The odd thing about ASRock is that their z390 Taichi was supposedly a complete letdown, but their Z390 phantom gaming itx board is arguably the best itx board for the z390 chipset

God their Z77 extreme4 was a massive POS. Unreliable and ugly af
Posted on 5/28/19 at 2:45 pm to boXerrumble
Yeah they are doing a Phantom Gaming X for the X570 and I am unsure on if I should go with that or the Taichi.
This looks clean though

The Aorus looks 1000000x better
Posted on 5/28/19 at 2:47 pm to UltimateHog
that Aorus looks expensive.

No pricing info yet
Like what in the frick, how do I even begin to choose.
Sounds good. I will be pushing it to max OC levels for sure.

Gigabyte's full list of X570 motherboards includes the following (click any of the links to go the corresponding product page for the full list of specs)...
Gigabyte X570 Aorus Pro WIFI
Gigabyte X570 Aorus Xtreme
Gigabyte X570 Aorus Master
Gigabyte X570 Aorus Ultra
Gigabyte X570 Aorus Pro
Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite
Gigabyte X570 I Aorus Pro WIFI
Gigabyte X570 Gaming X
Like what in the frick, how do I even begin to choose.

The flagship model of the bunch is the X570 Aorus Xtreme (shown above). This board is absolutely built for overclocking—it has a 16-phase digital VRM, a high-quality power architecture, a 'NanoCarbon' base baseplate that is both stylish and functional (cooling), and two socketed BIOS chips.
Like every other X570 motherboard, it supports PCI Express 4.0. This doubles the bandwidth of PCIe 3.0, giving graphics cards a fatter pipe, and allows for even faster NVMe solid state drives, such as the 5,000MB/s model that Gigabyte recent teased.
Sounds good. I will be pushing it to max OC levels for sure.

Their Taichi series for Ryzen has been very good. Their x370 and x470 boards were very well received. Their x370 Taichi was arguably the best first gen Ryzen board.
Posted on 5/28/19 at 3:07 pm to boXerrumble
I was going to mention that in my earlier post, I agree the first gen Taichi was the best Ryzen board. They are really good.
I'll either get the Aorus or Taichi most likely, MSI lineup looks to be below both.

If Gigabyte would fix their BIOS, they would have the best boards IMO.

Aorus Master and Xtreme will be their two best ones.
Pro WiFi ATX and itx should be decent as well.
