Wanted to post this earlier. I don't really care about this ability which nVidia will probably patch but how windows handles the pipeline. Give you more insight.

- Gets excited the thread has moved a few pages.

Finds out its another LSU Coyote/UltimateHog spat.

So with all the input lag debacle, I'm fricking confused. I play CS:GO, and was looking at new monitors. Was planning on probably going Gsync 1ms and highest HZ I can get.

What should I be looking for?

Yeah I had seen that a few days ago, the laptop method guy posted it on Reddit.

Nvidia will open it up eventually as manufacturers force their hand.

Interestingly enough, of all the TV manufacturers adopting freesync Sony said the PS4/Pro won't be getting a freesync update. So they must be leaving that for the PS5, whereas the Xbox S and X both already support freesync.

You don't want to use GSync or Freesync for CS:GO, it's one of the few games the small amount of input lag is not worth it.

Pros use 240Hz monitors, get one of those.

This specific monitor is what is in the training facilities, but they have Alienware sponsorship so just an example

Possibly, but I don't think anyone besides the 3-5 of us read or post in this thread. Or the gaming board as a whole just about.

Edt: anyone ever take their ADD/ADHD medicine and then become hyper sensitive to input lag? I normally don't have an issue with it but when on Adderall I notice any delay.

Yes, when I started taking it 10 years ago, I became hypersensitive to input lag, screen tearing, and aliasing.

I linked the freesync version. But again, it doesn't matter, pro teams/competitive players don't use an adaptive sync at all, it's turned off, the small input lag created is a no go for competitive gaming, CSGO especially.

So who's getting 2 of these next week for SLI?

I'm getting one. First time not going SLi since Kepler. Few games support SLi at launch now.

Plus the cost of block and backplate keeps going up. Might get one down the line but if it gains 20-35% performance above a TITAN Xp i'm fine.

Edt: But tbh it won't be long after. No way I will be able to restrain myself. Really trying to though.

Edt2: They also didn't release the full TU102 yet. So get this then upgrade to the real upgrade with the TITAN and TU-102-400. The RTX 2080 Ti is just TU-102-300.

754mm2 god damn that is huge.

i5 2500 or pentium g3258 are the worst CPUs I would put in a build
