All of it. People like you are why consoles exist. Just stay on your side of the tracks.

So there are some reviews out. Similar jumps in performance to last time. 2080 is on par to a 1080Ti. Ray tracing is nowhere to be found. I think I may wait for the 1080Ti to go on sale on EVGA and do the upgrade and be good with that. I game in 1080P and really don't even need a Ti but I want all the frames.

Buddy and I were just discussing the same. His best option may be to upgrade to 1080ti (currently 1070ti). He acquired same time you got your 1080. I'm sitting tight for the time being. I spent twice the amount I set out to on my build (ended up buying a monitor), and I'm happy with performance. More than happy.

Same here. Love the gameplay. Much better than when I was in console.

I just got an i5 3470 and 8gb of ram for $40, so I build a PC that would smash that one performance per dollar

Probably

Am I going to put in the effort to do it for you?

Probably not.

I think Blue and I did that and he didn't respond to any of it.

RTX cards are a joke.

2080 gets beat by the 1080Ti half the time and only wins by ~9% on others.

All that and it is still $100 more than the 1080Ti.

If the 1080 Ti's go on sale in the 500's on EVGA, I'm going to upgrade. If not, I ain't gonna bother.

Holy shite that's a cool single board. I just did some research and it appears it still doesnt have good emulator development.

Would be sweet to use as a retropie box

I'm in love with SBCs. Fckking around with SBCs is almost all I do now. I love just doing SBC builds for PFSense, DNS, DHCP and home security servers. Still run my main system off a Debian Server but my back-ups are all on SBCs.

The RTX cards aren't a joke. It is the same performance gain we see every gen.

Over priced yes? But compare it with TU102 not TU104.

Edt: we haven't even seen TU102-400 yet. So kind of excited.

Yeah, a little bit. The 2080ti is a beast it's just beyond overpriced that is the issue with it not the performance, and the 2080 seems like a dud that makes the 1080ti a better buy all around.

How just a little bit?

This is standard BS for every gen release.

Current gen Small Chip slightly better than previous Large Chip.

What until drivers and the increase is only slightly better. This is the reason to NEVER go small die.

WTF is different here? God you are dumb.

Edt: What does suck is getting charged for those fckking Tensor cores. This is why the price isn't cheaper.

Again wait until TU102-400 for real performance. Just hope it comes before 6months.

I just don’t know what I want in a pc. I know I want it to stream fine. And perhaps play black ops at mid to high settings. That’s about it.

I looked at what you and blue set up for me but I just couldn’t make sense if the specs and what they all meant.

ETA: it also doesn’t help that I’m cheap.

Nothing is different. Doesn't really help that AMD has anything competing in the high segment.

Agree on TU102-400. Just hope its not $2k for that performance.

The 2080 is apparently supposed to replace the 1080Ti, the 2080Ti with the Titan. Also considering that the 2080 is 100 more in price and does not give any gain in performance. That is a joke.

I think Jayztwocents said something like 70% markup in the Ti's but only like 25% increase in perforance. Go ahead and believe that ain't a joke.
