The dresser is old as hell, but holds mostly spare gun parts, and paperwork.

Chair review so far if anyone cares. I bought the MAXNOMIC™ NEEDforSEAT® OFC
Pros:
- The arms adjust up/down, left/right, and forward/backward.
- Has adjustable lumbar support.
- Long seat base and also wide, this was a must for me since I tend to sit with my legs crossed, the upward support on the chair seat works but isn't too steep to prevent me from sitting this way.
- Sturdy as hell with the steel frame, but weighs about 60 LBS.
- Excellent customer support (from reading) they called me before shipping to make sure which chair I wanted.
- Easy to put together, took about 30 minutes and no issues at all.
Cons:
- Because of the seat base attachment is so big (the part that attaches the seat to the seat hydraulics) I almost feel like I am looking down at the monitor and leaning forward even with the chair at it lowest setting. Not much clearance for the arms to fit under the desk. This his huge for me but I am going to raise my desk to compensate.
- Seat cushion isn't "soft" but I have yet to find a chair that was and had the features that this chair does, but it's comfortable enough.
- The lumbar is more of a upper/lower back support rather than a true lower back support, but it's nice either way.
- The got damn price.

My work office setup
Thinking of adding a second monitor. I have one to the right of me that's not in the photo for my security cameras. It's a 27" but I want one on the side of my current monitor for a spreadsheet that I reference a lot throughout the day. Would that be too much?

I have a 27 inch in the middle and two 23 inch monitors on the side, I love the set up.

The one in my pic is a 34" curved. Thought about getting another one but that would be a lot for a work set up. Probably get like a 23" to turn vertical on the side of this one or something. I am having a desk built that is going to 8' instead of the standard 5' so I will have a ton of room.

My monitor space is limited only by the size of the desk I can have. If I ever get a bigger house with room for an office, I'd definitely get a long desk and several monitors. For the project I'm on right now, I could easily use 4 16:9 monitors or 2-3 ultrawides.

I don't see anything on your notepad.
Was it just placed there?

The good news. Everything is in for my build. The bad news. I might not be able to take the time to build it until sometime in March.
At least business is good.

No. I keep it there to take notes throughout the day as my subcontractors call me crying with their bullshite. If I don't, I get sidetracked and forget to follow up on stuff. I know it's old school as can be but it works.

lol, I do the same.
Subcontractors crying about bullshite really rings true right now. I've been dealing with 40 of them on my current project.

I have subcontractors in 15 states now. It amazes me that these people can function sometimes.

We had a sub claim he had a heart attack, but then showed up to the job the next day

IF those prices are pretty accurate, wow.
You start to understand more and more why Intel is absolutely scrambling right now. I wonder just how much they will cut their prices both now and in the future, win win for the community.
It's also beautiful to see the community in basically every Ryzen post or article online to simply just want one and want it to deliver. Come on 28th!

Something tells me Newegg is gonna sell out fast.

Intel announced they are going to open a new plant in Chandler AZ yesterday in 3-4 years, specifically for making 7 nm chips.
Supposedly will create 3000 new jobs in the factory and will have as much as a 10,000 job impact in the surrounding area.

Yeah, it's good PR when they are in need of it, even if their 7nm progress has been delayed and roadblocked many times already and it's multiple years away.

They should be worrying more about their 10 nm chips at this point.
