I also thought about something more generic because with a virtual pinball machine you can load pretty much every table ever made on it and the back panel changes as well.

Bought a Kaby Lake list.
LINK
Not the most economical build I could do for this but that's not what I'm going for. The SSD and PSU I already had.
My OCD requires everything to be matching the color theme haha. Hoping for a serious overclock on the CPU.
Bought it cuz I'm bored.

AMD reveals their 32-core 64-thread Naples server platform
Up to 128 PCIe lanes and 8 memory channels, dayum.

With their new Zen architecture and their Naples server platform, AMD plans to hit the server market in a big way, with plans to offer CPUs with up to 32-cores and 64-threads and significant increases in both performance per watt and performance per clock (IPC) when compared to their older offerings.
The Naples CPU platform looks like it will be making a huge impact on the global server market, especially for those that are looking to deliver GPU-based analytics or compute solutions. It seems that Intel is going to have to work hard on their next generation server platform, as it seems their market dominance may be close to an end.

Yep haha. I'll see how far I can push it. 5.0 GHz seems to a achievable OC for this particular chip so I'll optimistically set that as my floor.

Im just wondering why they priced it around the same as an i5-6500. I mean shite, you can get a 6600k for $200 or less on sales quite frequently.
That chip should really be $140-150 IMO.

I sold my 6600K for $205 on eBay.

I totally agree. Maybe Ryzen will bring the price down? Who knows.
I do these weird builds sometimes where I spend a lot of money in strange places. I like trying to max out certain parts (like this i3) and see what I can get out of it. I put a 6700k in a htpc one time.
I'm making enough money to support my habit thankfully.

We are getting 300MPS here. Which is sort of ridiculous since having access to 150/10 since 2010.
Don't Ask - Some of you old dudes here will remember how cool Vanilla Ice was during the early 90s.

People are stupid. Dude at work asked me to take a look at his PC because the display won't power on.. Of course it's a 7 year old all-in-one touchscreen dell desktop. (I hate all in ones.. They are pieces of shite). I isolate it to the motherboard and find out this model is plagued with shitty motherboards and it's almost 200 bucks just for a USED one on eBay.
I tell the dude it's not worth it to drop that money into a 7 year old computer like this and he should REALLY just put that towards a cheap walmart desktop or something and I'll salvage his data from his old one.. NOPE dude said he wants to spend the money to repair this old piece of shite... WTF?!?!
I'm sure you guys have encountered the same shite as me from people "Hey, my computer is really slow.. can you fix it" then they bring you a 2006 Compaq and act shocked when you break it to them that you don't think your magic wand will be able to restore their relic!
"It's not too old.. I got it probably...6-8 years ago"

But the latency is still not that great. We built in 2013 but our rent house had great fiber to the home. So latency was 1ms everytime. I might get more Down now but it doesnt feel as snappy.

Does anyone use Jet for shopping computer components?
If so, what is your experience?

I've heard bad things about their customer service. But I suppose if you order something, and it ships without issue, no big deal.
My biggest point of consideration is return policy. I pretty much go with Amazon as my first choice even if it's more expensive (within reason). I rarely need to return anything, but the last thing I want to deal with is a crappy/over-scrutinizing return policy if I decide to send something back.
