For sure, love staring at my M7

Its nice, just not a fan of any of their "Gamer or Gaming Series" products.

I got it mainly because they're the best reviewed board for Z170 at the moment, without spending $300+ for other features I don't need or want.

And the black/red color scheme matches my black and red H440 and red RAM.

Amazon customer service just told me "we hope to have this item within a week".

Baffling to me that NewEgg has them in stock as of today, while Amazon is a week out, how the hell does Amazon get beat by NewEgg?

Also, ILike, I took your advice from last time with how much I hate NewEgg and bought Amazon gift cards with my PayPal balance to get my 6600K...so of course Amazon is completely screwed up with their Skylake shipments. Not only does my order from the 5th still say no delivery estimate and still temporarily unavailable, NewEgg has them IN STOCK and on sale right now. Like wtf Amazon.

Of course. I think Amazon was late on the GTX 980 as well. I couldn't even get 2 at once. Had to wait a week before it was in stock again.

At least with Amazon, you might actually get away with making a couple of buy-and-returns to find yourself a good overclocker.

True, never really thought about that.

I was planning on using the MSI OC Genie 2 for just an easy modest full time OC, and just use manual when benchmarking and seeing how high I can take it.

Microcenter still isn't showing the new processors for sale either and NewEgg only has the 600 and it's showing as sold out.

I think Amazon may be getting their shipment in soon, they finally adjusted the price from $274.99 to $249.99.

NewEgg is cheaper than Microcenter on the 6600k. That's a first.

Damn, Microcenter is $20 over MSRP that's crazy. Don't they price match though?

When are the 6700s going to realistically be available?

I would like to get my sister in laws computer built sooner rather than later but if there is a huge difference I can justify the wait.

I expect them to adjust that price soon. They've always been the cheapest for CPUs by a good margin.

I just bought the G502 for $50, a Samsung Evo 850 for $90, and Kingston HyperX Fury 16GB pack for $80.

That mouse has 12000 dpi haha

I wish the 502 didn't look so shitty... Would have bought it in a heartbeat if it looked like the 500

I would imagine this month, but I honestly have no clue. The CPU launches this summer have been atypical. Someone mentioned on overclock.net that Microcenter is selling them in store, so that may indicate that inventory is arriving and it's just a matter of time for them to go live on newegg and amazon. By Monday maybe?

It's grown on me. Or it's just easy for me to look past the aesthetics because it's such a great mouse.

Thanks for responding. Looks like I'm going to be calling Microcenter tomorrow. With a little luck they might have it.

While we're waiting for 6700s - what about cooling? Noctua and 212 Hyper Evo are the air choices - Corsair H110 and Nepton 140xl for liquid - other options?

And do we reasonably expect stable clocks over 4.5, maybe 4.6?
