Yep the window is $5 and I guess the refill is about the same at their cost, dude wanted to be a difficult for ~$10 in parts. They don't have clear windows for sale though and given the algae problem I also have I don't want a colored window.
I'm thinking about taking my DVD drive out so I can remove the upper bay and add a full loop and be done with swiftech.

So, I think my mobo just died. Posted on my phone until I can get to work in the morning.
Any mobo/cpu combos to recommend? My current CPU is a 5 year old i7 with a 1156 socket, so I'm looking to upgrade. Price range $450-550 is my hopes.

That really sucks since we're just a few months out from Skylake hitting.
GIGABYTE GA-G1.Sniper Z97 with an i7 4790K for $440
If you don't need an i7 you can drop down and save $100 to the i5 4690K.

Spent the last two hours troubleshooting. My mobo is at least dying. Two ram slots don't work, and my old OS data port is also dead.
Will definitely have to replace, just not sure how quickly. Leaving it on overnight to see if she's able to last.
The weirdest thing is that windows now thinks my copy isn't genuine. Not sure what that's about.

Interesting. Windows licenses are tied to motherboards at least partially. Could just be another symptom of its imminent death -- something has become unreadable to the OS.

Question: I'm buying a GPU for my first pc build and i'm wondering if i should spend money on a 980 ti with 6 VRAM instead of the 980 with 4 VRAM. Is it the right time have more than 4 vram? Are games going to need more than 4 vram soon?

Once it booted back on, I was able to authenticate, but that first successful boot was a cluster. Lots of issues.
PC was able to stay on through out the night, but I have very little faith in it working for more than a few weeks.
I was leaning towards the mobo UH linked and i5-4690K. I no longer do any encoding, so my i7 doesn't need to be replaced with an i7.
