Ok, so it looks like I'm going to be replacing my GPU soon - should I just go on and buy two of them and not upgrade my processor?
I'm currently running an i5-2310, the motherboard isn't the best, but it hasn't been horrible either (just not many options for overclocking).
So my question is... would it be better for me to upgrade my MB, Processor, and 1 Graphics card - or just get 2 GPUs at this point?
Thanks in advance

2 modern midrange gpus would probably be bottlenecked by that CPU. I would consider a CPU/MOBO/single gpu as the better option.

Devious what 980 Ti did you get? I went straight vanilla because I need blocks.

I didn't get a 980Ti. I couldn't rationalize that kind of purchase. I went with a 970 SSC ACX 2.0.

alright, well if I'm getting the 780ti from you, what processor and MB would you recommend?
ETA: Or with the release of new cards... should I actually stop buying last gen GPUs and spend some extra and get a good new nVidia card?

The retail price is actually surprisingly acceptable compared to predictions.

Question: I'm buying a GPU for my first pc build and i'm wondering if i should spend money on a 980 ti with 6 VRAM instead of the 980 with 4 VRAM. Is it the right time have more than 4 vram? Are games going to need more than 4 vram soon?
Only if you're playing at 4K. Somewhat with 1440P, but not necessarily. Though if it were me, I'd just splurge for the 980 Ti anyway. Alternatively, the $550 Fury with 4GB HBM is not a bad deal.

DoUrden, I remember a few years go when you first upgraded for the first time in like 5 years and what a PoS you started off with.

XBox 360 controller has been doing just fine for me. A white gamestop-branded one, to be precise.
