I hate speaking for people, so excuse me if I’m wrong, but I think that guy is just referring to the internet’s unreal expectations for a football game.
No matter what, there will be complaints about this game. Thats just the way the internet works. After a week or two, once the honeymoon is over, people will come back to the good ol internet to complain endlessly about this game.
‘The movement isn’t right’
‘Recruiting is ridiculous’
‘Running the ball is OP’
‘It’s just a madden/ncaa14 reskin’
‘All EA cares about is ultimate team’
Etc

I dont want them running like bots. But the momentum based and "realistic" physics of Madden make it not fun to play IMO let alone the other issues that franchise has. I just want the game to be fun. Madden's engine and player movement, gameplay is not fun. Thankfully CFB 25 looks nothing like it

Exactly. I heard for years and years about how nothing looked realistic in football games and then there was a recent trend in physics and more realistic movements and animations for Madden and it ended up ruining the game (alongside MUT.) I get the sentiment of wanting the game to mimic as much as real life football as possible but it ultimately doesn’t lead to a very fun or re-playable experience in my opinion.
NCAA 14 did NOT have super realistic movement and it was fast and it was perfect gameplay wise and it looks like they stayed as close to that as possible. I mean shite you have posters on here who act like that game was like NFL 2k with how beloved it is and how many people still play it. And it has nothing to do with it being the last college game. It’s because the game is fun.
Edit: the different gear and customization options for the players looks really really good. You can tell they put a lot of love into this one. Hopefully that continues moving forward

You know damn well what I meant, don't be a dick. It's not like EA has a sterling reputation on overusing new features, its ok to be skeptical.

The same way people spam the movement sticks to cheat the tackling animations.
Like COD with the tactical slide, Madden players just spam the movement stick back and forth and lose no speed or acceleration to avoid being tackled.

The only negative (potentially) is the wear and tear. I'd rather it just be turned off for online ranked. For dynasty, RTG, etc. it's fine. I like that they tried something different with the injury system. Just hope it's not overpowered.

Hopefully they toned that down as one of the gameplay changes that EA said to have already made since that gameplay.

I’m going to create my ideal conference realignment. No more super conferences. Back to 1995/96 for the most part and re regionalize the sport. Then I’ll start with La Tech and go up from there

He doesn’t know what he’s talking about. He said above NCAA 14 has less realistic movement than current maddens and he enjoyed that. It’s the other way around. Madden movement is pure arse.

i streamed Madden 24 last night to see how my good/bad my setup would be.
for you guys with a PC, you might benefit from the PS Remote App and streaming the gameplay from your PS5 to your PC. worked out pretty well for me last night. no capture card needed.
i've got 500/500 fiber internet through Frontier.
got to update my stream settings to at least 1080p though. didn't quite look that great. need some RGB, too.
