could someone explain what the colors of the pipeline tier mean?
The higher the number on the pipeline ‘1-5’ the stronger the pipeline is.

What does the 2 colors of the players influence bar mean?
The darker part of the bar is how much progress you’ve made in the past week with recruiting that player. Same with the other schools that past week.

Wow, just saw. Didn’t even know there were numbers on there they were so small.

They don’t. Whatever y’all do, do not increase holding call frequencies. You can turn everything else up to various degrees but don’t turn holding up at all.

Maybe I need to look more at the sliders and settings, but I'm 42 and just want to play a football game when I have some spare time and not Crusader Kings 3 in Death Valley. It would be nice if the game could just make adjustments for you if you just wanna run and throw the ball.
I appreciate the attention the detail and how much you can change at the line of scrimmage, but sometimes you just wanna turn your brain off and play the game.

The roughing the kicker is out of hand.
I started using safe man to prevent it. I did start to try to block punts but somehow missed an easy one with Caleb downs and get a roughing the punter.
I also went from my D murdering Kentucky and Tenn almost shutting both out to LSU who is 3-4 and has Swann at qb putting up 42 on me. I couldn’t get any pressure and had 3 blown coverages.
I decided until they fix stadium rank and a few other things in dynasty im hold off on my G5 rebuild.
I’m just going to play with USCE for my sec dynasty and WVU for a big 12 one. I’m leaning Minnesota if I want big 10
I don’t understand how people are getting out in the walls of Jericho by directional fcs school.
They also need to fix the game times, every game for 2 seasons has been a day game.

I’m doing a dynasty with Jacksonville State. I will get a crucial stop and it never fails the same guy on my punt return team will rough the punter in a key situation. Drives me nuts.

Sat down for the first time all weekend to get a game or 2 in.
1st 2 drives for me:
2 yard rush
Sack (4 man rush and RT didn't touch the DE)
Sack (4 man rush again, DT and DE came through basically untouched)
Punt
1 yard rush
2 yard rush
Sack (5 man rush, perfect coverage with no one open)
Punt
CPU's 1st 2 drives:
24 yard rush
28 yard rush
Slant to the house
12 yard pass (Multiple WRs wide open)
14 yard pass (Multiple WRs wide open)
6 yard pass
18 yard rush
22 yard TD pass
I turned it off. I don't want to spend anymore time playing this game until they fix a few things.
ETA: Went back and looked at the replays, and then replayed a few downs to see if it repeated, and it does. Every time the offense shifts, whether I'm in man or zone coverage, my two outside corners try to swap sides. So when the ball is snapped both outside receivers are WIDE OPEN.
I mean, what the frick?

I’ve played probably 20’games on AA difficulty so far and have had maybe 2 roughing the kickers. Both were on extra points so the penalty was irrelevant. Have not roughed a punter yet. I run regular kick block plays. Haven’t adjusted any sliders and usually control the outside rusher.

Recruiting question...
When you first start recruiting, you generally get 50 hours to allot, and the options are as follows:
50 - Send the House
25 - Contact Friends & Family
10 - Send a DM
5 - Search Social Media
When you use these yours, you can see those little green arrow indicators that show his much influence the options have on the player.
The obvious logic would be the more points you use, the more you green arrows if influence you'll gain but...
If you use the 50 hours to send the house, you'll generally get 4 or 5 green arrows of influence.
But if you opt instead to spend 40 hours with the 25/10/5 hours, you'll always get more green influence bars.
So which is actually better, spending the full 50 hours or spending 40 hours and getting more influence bars.

If it's very early in the season, and you're in 1st for a guy and he's super close to having the bar full and no other team is very close so you have a huge lead... Do you leave as is, or give even less hours so you can use your hours for guys who may need or more?
Or do you try to go full out to get that guy to commit ASAP so you can then reallocate his points elsewhere?

In regards to recruiting, my method. If the scenario like you mention, if I’m the only one showing interest, I typically back down my recruiting if I have other players that need my time. IMO, all that means is you are the only one showing interest at the moment, so the recruit is waiting for other schools to jump in so he can have a top 8 or 5. If you can get him in for a visit, then I spend a little more time on him, but if the visit isn’t an option yet, then I give him 10 or so hours depending on the need.
I just finished my first regular season and my class was way behind up until the last 4 or 5 weeks. I ended up in 4th before my last game, and after that game I signed 4 or 5 more players, most of them 4 stars.
There are 4 stars to be had late in the recruiting process. Many of the late signees were guys with a. Open status that I never had my eye on. I should have a pretty good class by the end of the season.
ETA: oh and BTW, I have the best offense in the country, and the 4th worst defense in the country. Has nothing to do with recruiting but just further evidence of defense being a joke. However, my last game, my user controlled defense was much better than the sim defense.

Same. It's weird how some are saying they see it all the time and people like you and I hardly ever see it. They have to be exaggerating.

Hasn’t happened often for me but I played a game against Bama today in my dynasty and I had to user Burns so he would stop roughing the kicker on field goal/xp attempts. Before and after that point it’s been pretty rare.

Literally just read about this on reddit and the guy tested it and said that you still gain more by sending the house instead of combining the other 3

The better the recruit the quicker you try to get him committed
