The roughing the kicker calls on CPU field goal attempts is irritating. I’m not even controlling the guy rushing in from the left side.

2 questions, what's the QB skill that allows you to see who is potentially biitzing where it shows the little red icon above the blitzing player?

And 2nd, where do I go to see which QBs have that skill in game?

I mean he’s also using (in my opinion) the best QB in the game. Milroe is one of the fastest AND he’s got a great throw on the run. Not sure it would work with every single QB


Also, those passing settings are way too much for me. I’m chilling on 7…16 is insane

That and the time between snaps to actually pick a play and do any pre-snap adjustments is insanely quick. I get that is part of the college game and all, but damn. I need to be able to save defensive adjustments to specific plays or something as a house route for D.

question for those who have spent some time in dynasty-

how long does it take to make a program better AND/OR get a better job? I was thinking I'd start as an OC at a very low level school and work my way to a big time HC job/LSU. I've heard that it takes longer to move up compared to 14.

I've had the CPU rough my punter in 3 games already. I'll take the free yards but there's definitely some tuning to be done on kicking/punting.

If you're playing offline, it's best to just turn it off unfortunately.

Speeds up the reticle placement and also allows for a wider variety of placement. I watch Dubby some (he’s an older guy like a lot of us but he’s an actual Madden pro) and his settings are:

Placement and Accuracy
Passing Slowdown: Off
Pass Lead increase: None
Reticle speed: 7
Reticle visibility: visible
Reticle: user only

I would highly advise AT LEAST 7-8. Anything higher and it allows some crazy pinpoint accurate throws but it’s incredibly hard to master

Oregon playbook is a lot of fun. It’s kind of the opposite of the Tennessee playbook where most of the splits are tight and then the route attack the open space on the outside

Lot of cool orbit motions and running back half motions to go into good routes like wheel or a Texas route

As you’d expect a lot of plays that set up a WR or HB to be wide open in the flat or have the spot to make a play in spade

Wasn’t a fan of Ole Miss. lot more ground and pound, little too much deep RPO game, and deep play patterns that are more pro style so there’s less creativity in the route combinations

Yeah they need to patch in some defense asap


2-3 tackles every time when I’m on D vs the CPU. Correct reads every single time. They never fumble. Every score is in the 30+ even when I put it on 3 min quarters just to see lol. I don’t mind giving up points but it’s just weird. Also, defensive hot routes against the CPU is pointless and almost hurts you

When it finally goes to PC the mod community will fix what they can. The patches will fix smaller things.

After playing NCAA 14 for the last decade, it is nice that you can now ensure a flat route or a route to the short side doesn’t automatically take you’re WR to be 4 yards out of bounds. I’ve gotten some nice check downs and drags to the short side that in the old game would’ve had the play art take over and automatically take the WR to be nowhere in bound despite being well away from the sideline when the throw happens.


After poorly choosing to do underdog on road to glory and burning a lot of time yesterday, I’ve just been trying different playbooks in exhibition & dynasty. I’ve been simming defense, I’ll worry about that later
