That’s probably a connectivity issue for it to be that extreme
All this talk about the SBMM but I personally have never seen it make a sudden or extreme difference like everyone talks about. Does it gradually change your opponents? I’m sure it does but I think most of this online bitching is just ppl wanting something to bitch about/placebo effect

Very possible, its just normally there are at least some other signs of connection issues, outside of that. For this game, the only thing that seems to be hit by it would be the hit detection. Maybe that is by design, don't know, but the game runs just fine otherwise. Not experiencing any type of lag or anything else, and my internet is more than adequate.
I'm not ruling out server issues by any means, its just you'll usually have more clues to it being a server issue than just one variable.

A good example of the disconnect that exists between the developers and the people playing the game... they release a major update today changing major things in the game 2 days before the CDL is scheduled to start which they have been hyping all year and in which Activision charged companies $25M to buy a team

Well they finally got rid of the slide cancel so now I have to basically relearn moving in this game

Slide cancelling fix was in the works since it blew up a couple of weeks ago. And it was in their known coming fixes. If a pro player is not ready for it, it is his own damn fault.

Bottom line: don’t click yes or no if given the choice to continue after it says you don’t have any data, hard reset your system.

I didn’t. I clicked no, deleted and downloaded it again. When it came back up that’s what I had. It kept my rank/calling cards, but started over with weapons.
