My problem with Cold War is I feel like it’s just a step down from MW. The gun mechanics just don’t stand up to MW at all IMO. The feel, control and even the look of them seem like a step down.

I've noticed it over the past month or so. I must be blind, there's no way I could shoot at the distance they're shooting at without a VLK.

Not much of a sale, thanks either way. The last COD I played through was MW2 if that tells you anything. It's... been awhile.

Nickmercs was talking to another streamer(can’t remember which) and argued with him that Cold War was lame.
When pressed he responded with “if it was the real deal we’d all be playing it right now”

nick's bread and butter is a BR. the cold war beta isn't a BR, yet. come november 13th, if they're a new BR map for warzone, he'll be playing it. you know, if it's worth a shite. if the fireteam: dirty bomb is any indication as to how the beta will play, as fun as it is, it looks like they tweaked the armor system in relation to the weapon damage system, which can be a huge deal breaker for some.
and the way i understand it, not many people have played the beta, yet, and will be surprised if they buy the game and notice it.

I guess I'm one of the very few that actually enjoyed the CW beta. Got to level 28.. will definitely play it a good amount before I toss it aside.

No man. CW is so much better than MW multi. It is night and day. People can get caught up in animations and sounds as much as they want but I am with you. CW is just more fun.
Obviously, it is just my opinion but CW is closer to how duty should be played. An arcade shooter that doesn't punish running and gunning. The camping mechanics in MW were unbearable and forced you to play 2 maps. (shipment or shoot house)
And it really doesn't matter what streamers say who never touch multi. Look at what all the COD pros who actually play multi are saying, it's just better.

Yeah I actually felt rewarded for running and gunning in CW. Nice to feel that again. Had some really good games, and never had a K/D below 1.00.

That doesn't mean I think it's perfect or anything. The sliding is so absurd and needs to be toned down. It has lots of things to fix but the bones are great.

Sniping is also a bit OP.. maybe has to do with basically 0 flinch or something.
