Excited for the new sniper. Will likely need a nerf but seems like an HDR/Kar hybrid.

What I got from it:
- No longer starting out with a pistol.
- You can start with a special class with any available weapon.
- Cross-progressions from platform to platform.
- Post launch content will be free.
- Death is no longer the end game. You can now exfil via heli.
- Killstreaks are active (similar to spec ops survival)
- Nacht Der Untoten is the map.
Still not sure if you can level weapons through this mode or not.

Similar experience last night. I wonder if the new season brought back a different demographic, or if the SBMM was changed.
Has anyone actually been using the subway? I can’t think of many good uses unless a bounty drives across the map.

Welp, apparently if you use the stim with restock while on the subway you can win every time while in the gas.

Had a guy on cranes near port use the new sniper (with hit scan) camp the skies trying to get to downtown so they can do the bruen blueprint.

Don't even have the gun yet. I would have because that was the type of mood I was in after being abandoned last night.

I never feel like grinding to get some of those locked guns... Multiplayer is AIDs.
I do have the next 4 days to game all the time with the wife out of town. Might be a good time to knock those out

i think if you guy the $24 battlepass, you get the new sniper instantly for the 20 BP levels you get. only cost me $10 really since i saved all the extra cod points from previous seasons. it's pretty fun witht the open iron sights.

I think I know one thing that's intentional
Remove shoot the ship, put in new absolutely OP hitscan sniper hidden behind 15 levels in a battle pass. People see how OP it is on reddit, social media, etc and pay to get it.
Activision adds shoot the ship back next week, non-payers get the weapon finally, gets nerfed at the end of the week.

This is spot on. They have to build hype on that $10 battle pass. They’ve done similar stuff like nerfing guns a week after dropping skins that cost money.
