MS obviously feels the kinect and entertainment integration is worth the $100 price difference. We'll see.

Agreed but the internet hasn't latched onto the tiny details yet. That won't happen until they are getting lag comped on the new CoD or something.

The difference here though is that Microsoft is just trying to sell their console to gamers. They have created a niche as an all around entertainment device and the kinect for children.
Around the holiday season the only thing I can see hurting them is the price, but when parents go out to buy their children a next gen console I doubt they care about the stuff we see constantly being bitched about.
We have a free market and competition. If it turns out to be a flop for these certain reasons than Microsoft will adjust and most likely do just fine. They aren't that stupid......hopefully.

Yeah serious. Didn't see anything super exciting. MS announced they would be giving away free games on XBox live as well.
