we need to keep it simple. just rearrange the scoring where there's not a 450 point gap b/t 1st and last..and also where the last 4 places don't receive the same amount of points.

Except that subtracting 1500 from your round of 130 puts you at -1370.

I like not having a big gap in points between positions. First is where the glory is, so we should use something close to this.
1st and 7th = two 2nd place finishes

This puts more value on a top 5 and top 10 finish (larger gap b/t 5 and 6 and 10 and 11). Also you would have to shoot worse than a 75 and 75 to get less than 0 points for an event
