The spreadsheet wouldn't be too difficult, I don't think. I expect Croacka to carefully inspect my model and report back his findings.

I like that idea AJF, now come up with scoring for places 1-16

a difference of winning by 10 strokes is going to have very little effect on a 1000 pt score

I think finishing position shouldnt really matter as much as total strokes.
Placing top 5 should award bonus points based on position, and ur 2 worst scores shouldnt count in the standings

Wait, I kinda like what gallo said. Your score is you total, and lowest wins. You also get bonuses for placing in the top 5, and those bonuses are weighted on your place. You subtract the bonuses from your score. 5 for first, 4 for second, etc.
That seems less complicated, but less fair to the rest of the 11 players.
