Sitting in a terminal near a stop. I did have a module in it.

Why ever transfer if you only get one piece of candy?
Wouldn't it be better to keep all the low level Pokemon and evolve them for the XP?

Well you won't be able to evolve "all" Pokemon, the evolve cost is more than the 3 catch candies. Transfer a bunch until you get plenty then do the math on how many you need to keep going forward for a massive evolve. You want to be evolving Pokemon for a while to take full advantage of the lucky egg.
Caught this Exeggutor on the way home. He was in the same area as another rare Pokemon I caught a few days ago. May be frequenting that spot to see if it's producing good Pokemon on a regular basis. Used the mammoth to take all the gyms on the way home.
Also saw a Dratini on the way home. Idk how rare she is, but I almost hit the brakes to do some searching.

The cost to do that is incredibly high. You need candies to do that, and there's no way you'd ever have enough candies to evolve every single pokemone in your arsenal.
I've assumed it's better to keep one of the pokemon and transfer the rest that are the same for candies.

I am liking the game but wish you could fight random Pokemon to help level. Is there a chance they add that? Or fight a friend?

Great pokeballs are a lie. I haven't had one work yet. used 5 and every time they pop out and run away.

I find fhat the great pokeballs tend to curve and miss the target more than the regular pokeballs even though i'm using the same flicking motion. Anyone else noticing this?

I wouldn't be shocked if that gets added.

I find a lot by just driving around. Its where I've gotten my rarer ones.

Just got up to a level 11. Captured a cp403 Pinsir this morning. Other than that, nothing out of the ordinary.

My bros and I are gonna go downtown tonight and take over so gyms. Only one I've won so far is Nola Brewery and someone else took it over 3 hours later apparently.

So issues I am having....
When I am walking I am running off 4g, it seems I lag and freeze like crazy this way. I also listen to music which may contribute to this.
However, today I lost out on 5-10 pokemon due to freezing and lagging and I lost at least 30 pokeballs. I would have a pokemon in front of me and the ball locked in and then the ball would just roll. Then another issue is I would catch a pokemon and it would go back to my camera and I would have to catch it again and again, for a pidgey it did this 5 times and then said it ran away. Of course it counted every single ball.

You can re-grab pokeballs that miss. Don't forget that.
