You were able to throw the pokeball while it was still zoomed in on the pokemon. Making it nearly impossible to miss and you got a high rate of "Great" throws.

well frick me. I had no idea about that. I've never gotten a great throw, but get tons and tons of nice throws.

Since I've hit level 20 I've noticed a ton of break outs. Kinda makes me wish they would let you set a default ball to start with instead of having to go in and switch to great balls.

Under cp500 = regular ball
Above cp500 = 1 great ball, then regular balls (raspberry here & there)
Something rare or I haven't caught before = Ultra balls until I catch it or rage hard as it flees

Biggest app game of all time running into the shitter by a company that hasn't tweeted the fanbase but tweeted soldier boy if he was playing.
No way to track any Pokemon, which is what the game is. We are basically playing Super Mario Brothers without the ability to jump.

yeah, Niantic took an outstanding concept and then took some of the most fun aspects of it away. Their lack of communication is appalling.
I wonder how long it will take for Nintendo to step in and say...Look, thanks for drumming up awareness for Pokemon again, but you better get this shite right immediately.

I understand them getting rid of pokevision and quick toss(Even though i loved it), but I'm confused about the tracker. Why did they get rid of it? Seems like that was the whole point of the game.

In case any of you were wondering what a cp10 Pidgey would evolve into, it's a cp14 Pidgeotto. I accidentally found that out this morning.
