They are pure HP and tough to dps down before the timer runs out when they are defending a gym.

Ugh dropped down to only one incubator. Those eggs are going to take forever now. Guess I'll have to run 5k every day now.

Yeah...after I had a 5km egg straight up disappear and give me nothing due to a freeze..I quit investing in incubators.

Can someone explain why it's good to sit around a cluster of stops with lures set up? Seems like Everytime I stop its nothing but weedles, pidgey, etc.

Bc you can spin them every 5m for balls and xp.
and good stuff can spawn.
Weedle caterpie and pidgey are the best for xp/leveling up. 12 candy to evo
Also a high volume means you can perfect your curveball great/excellent throws

I don't have time to go to parks and stuff to catch decent Pokemon. But this does make me want to buy a 3ds for sun and moon.

I really think it has to be a combination of factors. I've been at a lure by a coffee shop with only a few people playing, and only found garbage. The lures at the mall and by my office have tons of people playing, and I've hauled in a lot of new and good pokemon. The higher the density of players, the better the results.

If you get a 10k egg hold off until at least lvl 15 but I would suggest 20.
Even though the servers were down had a decent night.
Hatched a 647 growlithe, one away from evolving.
589 ryhorn
542 seel
570 psyduck
435 pikachu, two away from evolve
420 dratini
Finally saw and caught a Doduo 215 though
Koffing is ready to evolve but highest I have is 373 so I'm going to wait.
Also, not sure how many Evee's people have evolved but pretty sure each evolve differs in cp. My flareon is 1333 from amid 400 evo, vaporeon is 1482 from a 507 evo and Jolteon only got to 1181 from a 590 evee. The Jolteon was an evo at 20. The other two I was in the high teens.
Even though the servers were down had a decent night.

Once it finally got back online the gameplay was actually very smooth tonight, not counting the tracker which is STILL broken.
Saw a wild Squirtle but CP wasn't great. When I came across this monster I yelled "holy shite." on the sidewalk. The highest CP Pokemon I've seen in the wild yet. Too bad its moves don't match its type, but I'll take it. Super stoked to have finally landed my first 1,000+ CP from the wild (I'm level 21).
