Also, not sure how many Evee's people have evolved but pretty sure each evolve differs in cp. My flareon is 1333 from amid 400 evo, vaporeon is 1482 from a 507 evo and Jolteon only got to 1181 from a 590 evee. The Jolteon was an evo at 20. The other two I was in the high teens.

I think, and this is a complete guess, that XL and XS play a part in the outcome in evolving. I know for a fact that my higher cp pokemon (before evolving) were XLs, and when they evolved, they became XSs without that much of a CP boost. My guess is that if you evolve XS pokemon, that the bump in cp will be much higher, and they'll end up being either regular or XL.

I really need to try this out to be sure, but I don't have enough low level pidgeys to test my theory right now.

There's specific math behind the eevee evos..and of course I know it.

The short of it is..attack speed isn't included in cp consideration so Jolteon has low CP.

Vaporeon should attack slower but actually has the 6th highest dps attack in the game. So he has high hp, high attk, decent defense...thus high cp.

Then each pokemon can have IVs which is another variable to determine how much CP they get.

This is why 'heavy hitters' like snorlax are king...attk speed doesn't really matter in this game .... the dps of your main basic attk is,what counts and vaporeon and snorlax have 2 of the 3 best. Alakazam has the best

Here is the document I reference to determine if a poke is worth investing stardust in

LINK

They must have the 'best' normal attack out of the two they could get. Then look to see who has the absolute best out of your collection.

Hint: it's vaporeon , unless you have a high cp snorlax, dragonite, lapras, exeggutor, alakazam, muk, slowbro with a STAB bonus

So my Slowbro ended up with Confusion as his base move... so he's basically trash if I'm reading that sheet right, correct?

Jesus cheating in this game is out of control already. You don't need the radar anymore apparently, just get notifications of their exact position and head on over there before he leaves.

No wonder the radar server is off.

Pretty rare. Nice

You can either wander in circles aimlessly because Niantic won't fix their game or go to POKEVISION.COM to find it

I could be mistaken, but aren't you the guy that said he was using cheats from ingress reddits to find pokemon?

Can't find him but he's somewhere on the Jobsite. Hopefully he is on track to my lunch room. Did get another 440+ evee though so I'll have all 3 over 1k once I make him jolteon

Thank God I figured out that you can determine what your Eevee involves into before I caught one.

Here is why I don't feel bad about using pokevision:

Even if I find the pokemon, I still have to get to it in time, then:

Hope it has high CP
Hope it has high IVs

Catch it in 1 throw using a razz berry, great/ultra ball, curveball AND great/excellent throw

Then on top of all of that... hope it has the right moveset.

Then farm enough candy , dust, and trainer xp to power it up

Individual values.

Pokemon can have different amounts of CP per powerup depending on if their IVs are high, medium, or low

There was a tangela right outside my front door I would of never seen if not for pokevision

How do you figure out the Iv's exactly?

I actually don't know as it's honestly too small for me personally to care since the gym system is so simple.

I imagine it's based on how much CP is given from a powerup, then looking at the exact HP given to determine if that stat was High medium or low, then doing math on the difference to see if attack and defense are H M or L

Probably could Google it. Pokemon Go IVs.
