Thoorin is losing his mind on twitter lmao. He said Flame would win Worlds on TSM.

All I see is him saying that about SKT and with Ssumday as well.

Ssumday and Flame would win Worlds on SKT. Wouldn't make them the best Tops in the world. If you don't get it you don't get LoL.

He edited it. When he posted it, it 100% said TSM. I was like

Yeah, looks like he is going in hard in regards to people calling out Monte over the NA tops thing.
Now he is straight bashing TSM fans.
I can't disagree, COUGH COUGH.

TSM fans are the teenage girls who argue the singers in their favourite boyband must be the best since they sell a lot of records

You two would get along great.

He's right though. Flame/Ssumday > Hauntzer. TSM fans just can't fathom anyone being better than their own player.
He either hates TSM or really hates TSM fans.

By the logic of TSM fans, any team that beats TSM at Worlds has a superior Mid laner than Bjergsen. #FanLogic

It's both. He and Regi hate each other. Regi actually banned anyone involved with TSM being on Summoning Insight for a long time. He can't justify shite talking DL or Bjerg for obvious reasons so he goes after the fans, Hauntzer, and Sven.

Thoorin is just doing the Skip Baylee's/Stephen A. routine for LoL. Take the most beloved team in the world, and "hot take" them to death thereby generating pageviews.

Thoorin's just a mindless TSM hater like someone who posts in this thread a lot. It's been like that as far back as I can remember. He was always dickriding CLG and throwing shade at TSM leading up to every tournament, regardless of all the TSM success.
Ssumday is best top na. Saying Flame > Hauntzer is laughable though. Flame is okay. He had one good season in na. Was it him or the meta? Hauntzer has been top 3 top lane through multiple splits, multiple metas, playing carries and tanks.

It's not laughable at all. They both have very similar stats throughout the split.

Flame has only been playing in NA for 2 splits. If you are going by that you should remember that Flame was playing in Korea for several years and was voted the best top laner in Korea a few years ago.

I don't think it's any question that Flame in his prime > Hauntzer right now, that's not the argument.

I enjoyed watching that series. That game 4 come back was incredible. I enjoy watching the best play against each other, and that's what it seemed like. The two NA teams that deserved to be there were.
It's pretty wild when you can kind of tell when a team is making a come back and are going to win, even while they are still losing. (In any competition) I felt like that in game 4. After TSM won a couple team fights I knew it was over, it didn't matter if they were 10k gold down.
Biofrost had a really good series. He had some really strong engages there at the end.

quote:It's painfully obvious with really hard-scaling comps. It sucks when you're on the losing end of it. You can even tell in soloq. Yeah your team with Lee, Lucian, and Panth stomped the shite out of the other team for the first 20 minutes. You're up 6 towers and 2 drags, but their Cass has finished ROA, Cho's starting to get big, and their Tristana is coming online and you can't seige well enough to close out the game in time. All of a sudden you can't win a teamfight anymore.

You left out the part where I stated they had very similar stats this split. They also finished the all lcs team voting for top laner with Hauntzer 2nd and Flame third, separated by one vote.
If you feel Hauntzer is better than flame, I have no issue. But saying things like 'flame is just ok' and 'comparing them is laughable' is silly.
Posted on 9/4/17 at 9:02 pm to Jackie Chan
I think you misread. I didn't say comparing them is laughable. But saying flame is clearly better than hauntzer because of 1 split where he had similar stats is silly.

I think the glaring weakness on the team is still Sven. Getting caught all around the map, and not being able to perform at a high level without his pocket picks is what got them in trouble at worlds last year. And it will be a major issue this year.
Thankfully, TSM has enough talent at other positions that they are still able to steam roll in NA, but I just don't see them being able to win worlds when there is such a large skill gap b/n Sven and the other elite junglers in the world.
Bjerg is good enough to compete with anyone.
Hauntzer is probably not better than the best top laners in the world, but he isn't far off. His ability to compete with Ssumday, Flame, Huni, etc. have shown that he's not a big liability.
Bio has grown a lot. And the bot duo aren't probably as good as SKT, KT, LG, SSG... but they're good enough to win.
It's really just Sven that isn't near the top at his position on the world's stage.
Now, he may prove me wrong. And TSM can easily get out of groups without a shite draw like they had last time. Group of goddamned death.
But if you want to WIN worlds. You are gonna have to beat those teams to win it all. And I'm not sure that the pressure/playmaking that Sven provides will get them there.

quote:His Zac was rough but him getting killed in his own jungle against IMT was not on him. That was because TSM picked losing lanes in every lane plus a losing jungle matchup. Every other game besides that he was fine. Sven's game 2 wasn't the same kind of inting as he was doing in the regular split where he'd just mindlessly invade with no backup or vision. He's most definitely improved to the point of not being a liability. Is he the best player on the team? No. Is he HURTING TSM in any way right now? Nah. People give him shite because Jungler is the first role to look bad when a team as a whole is playing poorly, and it was warranted for most of this split, but as far as the finals, he was fine. He actually adjusted to Xmithie really well and by the time game 4 rolled around, he had reversed the counter-jungling pressure in the early game. Calling him a glaring weakness is a bit much. He's a major reason their teamfighting was so good.
I think the glaring weakness on the team is still Sven

I ain't watching all that shite but a lot of what he says is pretty accurate and already known within the non TSM fan community.
You do a LOT of what he talks about.
I was having flashbacks when he started talking about Jensen and his stats holy shite.
