But as of the last several months, I count once, maybe twice where my team won a game after someone started consistently bitching and being toxic. It's to the point now that once two teammates start fighting at 5 or 10 minutes into the game, I can tell you the outcome, and it's us losing the game.
It's usually over dumb shite or people yelling at the jungler because the mid laner died 3 times even though he never wards and is always pushing wave to enemy tower.
When it's good it's good. When it's bad...it's infuriating.

Every now and then I'll get in a game with people that's genuinely fun. Chat's active and everyone's just having fun playing the game win or lose. But those have become few and far between now.

Just finished champ select for ranked and the game refused to load. I exited out of the client and now I can't get back in.

Finally got back in and saw it. Originally it wasn't letting anyone log in.
I am in promos to get to Silver 1. I was waiting to see I was kicked out of them for "dodging" when the server crashed
ETA: Can't get normal draft to load either. Guess it's not meant for me to play tonight.

I saw that last night.
I'll admit, I don't pay much attention outside of the LCS, but I've never heard of this guy before.
I read he and doublelift have been duo'ing recently, but that's about it.
With the way TSM's roster is setup, they should go out and get a good Korean support if one is available.

I'd like to see more NA talent in NA as well, however if NA players can't step up, I don't expect teams to take worse players for the sake of the region.
Is it that NA players just simply don't care as much as other regions?

He's ranked 100 in NA on the ladder. From his match history he seems pretty good, if his ranking wasn't enough.
At that level, it's more about team synergy than player skill, because they are all highly skilled. The ability to 1v1 outplay may be nice to see like what faker can do, but that doesn't mean as much as working well with your team.
Bot lane especially needs good communication. Would never want to lane with someone who could only ping and use broken English to communicate.

I also find the labels of regions fragile considering almost half of the makeup of NA teams are now imports. Why even have regional designations. Just have one big league, no restrictions on team makeups, and set it up like the NFL, or any other major sports.

Off topic but I wanted to share..
A friend of mine recently (the past 4-5 months) started playing league. He's gotten to be pretty average.
He decided to play ranked placements to see where he would be placed. Went 6-4, admitted he got carried hard for 3-4 of those wins.. gets placed in Silver II.. meanwhile I've busted it playing around 200 games, winning 55% of those and only getting to Silver II, now in Silver III again..
I went 6-4 in my placements, got placed in Bronze I being Silver IV last season. Friend of mine who was silver II last season went 6-4 as well and was put in Bronze IV..
I just find it discouraging to realize people who are just starting out in ranked are being put in the same spot as me when they probably shouldnt be.
