Now they completely remove the passive attack speed gain from Kog's W after just putting it there last patch. LOL.

Kog Q now has more MR and armor resist and costs less mana.

They buffed his attack speed growth from 1.5 to 3.

Lowered subsequent shots from his ult from 10 to 6 seconds.

I think their "balancing" of Ryze is worse. He is always either (a) cancer or (b) complete shite. They turn him into a machine gun spell flinger... Then cap his spell usage

Reddit used to do this a lot. Plats/Diamonds played against silvers and gave advice and tips based on the game they just played.

I play in the Platinum vs Silver games regularly. It is pretty much a stomp fest as anyone would expect. It is only beneficial if the lower elos actually want to learn. Too often people think they are there to prove something instead of actually taking advice.

I did read that at some point, those games became less beneficial as the plat players were simply playing to curbstomp opponents and then not give any pointers afterwards.

Is that still occurring?

I figured doing it with people of TD would ensure everyone is friendly and utilizing the system properly.

Yes it still happens in certain games, but not all. There are a select group of people that create the PvS games to give advice and actually help. If you were to create a plat v silver game nobody would join it. But if one of these reputable people created the game, many people will join. For example, the user "Gold Apple". His games fill up.

I'd really like to know how elo is calculated.

I'm Silver 3, so I expect to get paired with people who have at least SOME game knowledge and are half decent...like me, a very average player..not great, not terrible.

But no...I get Orianna support and a yasuo who dies ten times mid at 15 mins. Meanwhile, enemy Yi has 11 kills at 14 minutes and is now 2-3 shotting everyone, including me (garen) with armor.

Kill Yi a couple times, thinking game may turn around...nope...yas and ori die....AGAIN.

I don't need to win every game, but the chasm between skill levels at this elo thus far this season is so out of whack. I find myself playing with people who have less game knowledge than I had after only three weeks of playing this game. It's mind boggling.
