I played bots all the way to level 20. Playing normals without tier 3 runes blows and you can still learn last hitting and champs either way.
I guess but the whole laning process, warding, team fights, playing from behind, dragon and baron fights, and overall familiarity of champions in a game are pretty lacking which takes a decent amount of time to learn. Playing against people helps you find the champions that you are the most comfortable with. I think AI games are the best at learning the mechanics and combos of your champion .Its also great for easy ip. The problem is your skill level really won't improve when you are just stomping easy ai every game.

quote:Yeah. Playing against Lvl 30 ADC mains sucks. I'm holding my own and going even, but it's tough when they all have great mechanics vs mine.

Still learning how to position. I get caught out a lot. Totally my fault, but I'll get better. Jungling is still my main and it's ok, but what if I don't get that role in ranked?
I've got to get better at others.
My top lane is decent... I've played mid a little.
I've got no bot lane experience. So, that's where I'm spending my time, but I'm realizing I should have done more of it earlier at lvls 10-20.... Lvl 30 ppl are legit.

learning vayne as your first adc probably isn't the best choice. She's all about attack moving and can be very tricky to position because her attack range is low. Also her laning is one of the roughest in the game right now with the additions of lucian and jinx. It also doesn't help that the support meta is mostly kill lanes with thresh, leona, and annie.

You learn by getting your arse kicked. That goes for pretty much everything in life. You don't get bigger if you don't add weight etc. Gotta take your lumps. You turn out better in the end.

I'm new to the game, lvl 18, you don't learn anything from ai except anger... and most people in the ai games are completely retarded or trying to power lvl and complete asses.
I agree with playing normals is the only way to get better, but that goes for most games.
is the only way.

I know exactly what you guys are saying. I've only been playing since ~3q13, but I get it.
I just wish I had spent some time doing other roles before I started playing against experienced lvl 30 ppl.
That being said........
My non-typical junglers wreck b/c ppl dont' know how to deal with them. Since gank meta is kinda out, hardcore gank champs shut these assassin assholess down.
Games are fun when you add in one of these....

Bronze 2

Now 5-3 because our vayne picks into a cait and gets out farmed by 100 and is never with us in team fights. Not to mention the entire team focusing the shiv and trundle instead of the lux or cait.
You can't make this shite up.

Teemo?
Not a bad support depending on the match up.

Annie and Karma both do what Teemo does only better.

I like Teemo's blind and his map control with the shrooms. His poison isn't bad either.

I'm so tired of supports csing.
ETA: Watched some videos where adc's said that supports are 60% of the lane. I'm starting to think that's the case. I can do damage to other ADC or support to win lane dominance, but if the support is crap.... there's nothing I can do to keep it from getting pushed into my turret.

The champ that needs the least support help is cait. Learn how to cs under the tower and you will always be in the game. Supports should never cs unless they have targons which gives money to both the support and adc. When the lane is pushed into your turret or you know they will push to the turret tell your jungle to camp the hell out of your lane and punish the other team for being so far pushed up. It's also important to have a pink ward or go check the spot with a sweeping lens trinket to make sure the gank path is open. Most of the time it's a free dragon if you successfully gank bottom lane.

I want to drink bleach every time there is a Fiora on my team. She brings absolutely nothing. It's pretty much an insta-loss. It only adds insult to injury when said Fiora feeds a Kha'Zix.

I'm so Vayne. Must be something about me. I'm so Vayyynnne.
It's fun with a good support. Kill... Kill.... cs. get camped. Get 3 kills.
ETA: Fun when you play good and carry.
I still need to work on kiting. And I don't know if it's latency, lag, or what, but my cs still messes up on me sometimes.
Maybe it's just me being bad. haha
