I feel ya on that one. I only have 3 rune pages. One for AD, AP and Support. I run the same runes on Thresh. Those two are pretty much the only supports I play at the moment.

Was playing Nami religiously, but I've found that playing the tank/gap closer role is much more my taste

When S4 rolls around we should get a TD league team going again.Honestly besides murdering the jungle I like the other changes. Hopefully I will get to plat this season.

I've carried pretty hard as Taric, Leona, and Thresh so far.

Being alive much longer lets me peel a lot more than usual.

When supports can afford a frozen heart and a randuins in the same game you know it's a new season. However I'm glad I don't adc main anymore because honestly their importance in lane and in the game is down a bit.

I 1v1'd a Graves as Leona yesterday.

He barely did any damage to me as I wrecked his face.

I haven't played any AP heavy supports yet, but I can only imagine how much their damage has improved.

Another reason I'm glad I don't adc much anymore. I don't care how good of an ahri someone is if the other support is leona or even annie I walk into lane with an enormous disadvantage. It seems like everyone thinks that now since sup gets gold every ap mid is viable bot. The ap mids that get played bot have RELIABLE cc on top of burst damage. Ahri has short range and her cc is blocked by minions, she doesn't bring much utility to lane all. It's the classic frick the adc I'm going nid support complex.

The problem with Annie is she has no CC unless you're on your 4th cast. Early game, that's pretty costly in terms of mana. Other than that, she's pretty much just making it a kill lane.

For all that, you just as well go AP Nidalee. Better, stronger poke, traps for bushes/zoning, and a heal that's pretty potent with AP items. Plus her ult gives you offensive options that use zero mana and can be a gap closer if necessary. Not bad for split pushing either.

I waltzed my way up to mid as Leona a few games ago after our mid had died. 1v1'd a TF easily. W,E,auto,Q. Repeat with low CDR. DONE.

It isn't that hard to manage, especially since her q refunds mana. Besides a situational stun is preferable to no cc at all. Nid's poke is negated by minions while annie's is not. Annie is better in fights in lane and team fights. Nid has no peel for the ADC either. She really offers nothing supportive except a heal. As an adc having no CC zones you so hard in lane.

It's not hard to manage, but I'll take a much stronger poke and a potent heal over annie's stun every 4 casts. Maybe it's just a personal preference.

Nid's passive makes her a nightmare as support botlane. The bonus move speed through the bush, trap behind your target, spear, ult, pounce, E then Q, repeat. You can really dominate bot lane early with that.

I've had success with her poke range and heal. Makes farming for your ADC much easier and zones their ADC out of the wave completely if you can dominate that bush. ( )

But again, it could just be personal preference.

ETA: Nid's heal also increases the attack speed of whomever she is healing. Makes taking down towers a sinch.

Top - Jax, Elise, Riven, Olaf
Mid - Orianna, Fizz, Kassadin
Jungle - J4, Lee, Vi
ADC - Cait, Lucian, Ez, Vayne
Nasus Jungle or Top

These are all solid picks in the meta right now. I like to play niche champs that are in no danger of getting nerfed and usually my lane opponent in unfamiliar with the match up.

Lucian and Sivir are taking the top spots for ADC.

Her AA range is so shitty though. She gets owned so hard in lane.

Only if we can actually keep it going this time. We could have very easily hit gold with our team last season, we just didn't play enough.

Vayne is much better in late game and can duel almost any adc as soon as she hits 6. Sivir is a great team fight ADC but outside of that she kinda sucks.

Was fun playin with you the other night Drewbie. Sorry you got stuck against a Diamond III

We didn't know he was Diamond. Matter of fact, I think it was just a random name someone invited. Either way, it was crazy in teamspeak during that game. I raged at my "ADC" heimer the entire time
