I will be buying it come friday. Can't wait. They deserve all the credit they are getting. I'm tired of companies putting out crap and charging 60 dollars.

You can state that as your opinion and that is fine.
I am sure the game is incredible. I have every intention of getting it from gamefly and playing it.
But to say the game is that much better because it is on the PS3 only is just silly. The game could just as easily be made for the PC and XBox.

PC obviously, but I am assuming he is referring to consoles.
And with that assumption, the Xbox cannot do TLoU and a lot of the PS3 exclusives as well as PS3.

I mostly agree this is true (though, the 360 has a few great exclusives itself) but I'd prefer this game was on 360 and PC as well.
I'd like for as many people as possible to experience a great NG game.
(And it'd be fun to see what the PC modding community could do with TLOU.)
Edit: And hell, why not the Wii U as well? Maybe you could use the touch screen as your backpack or something? I don't know.

I am 100% OK with it being exclusive to one consoles.
Instead of building for the lowest common denominator they can tailor it directly to the specific hardware of the console.
If this was a multipatform, then the lowest common denominator would have been the 360 which could not handle a 3 of last 4 games made by ND. Not to mention the resources it takes to port the game, which would take away from the overall quality.

Even though I'm not that big into zombie games, I pre-ordered this game a long time ago just because Naughty Dog was making it.
Looks like it will be deeper than I ever thought and will be a solid purchase.
