Well don't most gods go back to the beginning of time? Aren't they creators? Just because the people who founded the religion were of an era/timeline...does not mean the story takes place within that era/timeline.
Also Mayan as well?

Lucky bastards!!! I am in Afghanistan and when it hit midnight Eastern time and the game went live it was 0830 for me and I have already been at work for an hour and a half.

I played for a couple of hours last night and it's awesome so far. I haven't even unlocked any extra combat skills, but the combat is insane. Hard (give me a challenge) is actually hard, I died 3-4 times in the tutorial area.
