My Castle got attacked yesterday by a horde of Super Mutants and their dogs. I saw them walking towards Castle after I quick traveled there "Castle is being attacked"~

"8 Mutants and 4 dogs... Seems pretty easy."
Shoot one mutant with a Reba headshot, and it only knocks off a 1/4 of its health.
"Hmmm..."
Four mutants pull out rocket launchers, 3 have automatic rifles, and one has a flamer.
"frick."
My character goes flying off the wall limbless from 2(3?) direct rocket hits, and goes to the quicksave right before I had shot the first mutant

I think the only reason I lost 2 settlers was because they could only come in through the "front door" with two basic auto turrets already setup there. I had to RUN from 3 dogs the entire fight inside the courtyard and by the time I came back to kill the mutants, the super mutant with the flamer had burned down all the settlement's crops, all my NPC's were lying on the ground in pain, and only Preston and I were fighting the last leftover mutant while all the settlers were watching from afar. I love this game hahaha.

I'm a level 36 if anyone is wondering when THESE types of attacks start rolling around. To think I complained about three raiders not being challenging enough... Haha

What is the best way too set up supply lines?

I just group up supply lines to the settlement they're closest to and route back to my 'hub' settlements. My current "hubs" are Sanctuary, Starlight Drive-in, and Castle. My other settlements are either directly connected to the hubs, or they connect to other settlements that connect to hubs, like a daisy chain.

In a game world, that's probably not the most efficient way of doing it. But I like to pretend my supply lines are more like real world supply lines and attaching small farming settlements to small towns, attaching small towns to big towns, and attaching together big towns.

In the end, there is no "right way", so long as all of your settlements are connected in some form or fashion

Just hit level 53.

I guess it's time for me to move on with the story quest.

Maybe. Gonna get 100% affinity with Cait first

When settlements are destroyed by attackers, do you lose any loot stored in the "workshop"? If not, i'm good.

It's an armor mod obtained via the Railroad quest line that allows you to apply varying levels of damage resistance to base-clothing items.

You can put defensive stats on headgear and military fatigues. At the highest level armorer perk, it VASTLY increases you defense. Just adding a green rag and military fatigues Max Upgraded just about tripled my old armor rating.

It can go on more items, but I put it on items that would allow me to use the normal outer wear gear.

Have yall encountered the church of atom hostiles in the NW corner near the Museum of witchcraft and that lighthouse settlement(badass settlement btw). Holy crap are those guys tough and annoying. Thank god I had on my power armor to deflect those gamma guns.

I Just want to show off my Red Rocket base. It's fairly modest compared to some of the PC guys but I'm pretty proud of it since it's on PS4 with no mods.

The 2 wind turbines look awesome on top.

I'm saving base building for my end game, can't wait.

Well done.

Speaking of mods, I think I'm addicted now. Over 50 atm.

I need to find MOD that gives me full field of vision even when wearing the Power Armor. I hate how at nighttime, the field of view shrinks.

This one cleans up the HUD a bit.

You can mod your field of view in the .ini files I think.
