I use classic passing as well. I plan to try the different passing types but felt like the learning curve was already steep enough for me.

Man the revamp is so hard to time throws down the middle right.
I’ve gotten pretty good on out routes and curls but trying to hit a seam or a wheel route is tough

I’m in season 5, year 3 with Virginia.. made it all the way to the national championship and my star receiver shows up to the game with an orange helmet

I went P&A and haven’t been back. I’d much rather my QB overthrows or a bad pass happen because I fricked up, not because the CPU deemed it necessary for me to throw a bad pass
On the real, I only ever miss passes in Placement and Accuracy whenever I throw it in the red, maybe only once or twice a game. But with Classic and Revamped (I tried both) I felt like I still had some misses because of variance. I’ve had wide open receivers and blue passes in revamped STILL miss. I also feel like I have much more control over the pass trajectory in Placement and Accuracy vs Revamped. No hate to any Revamped bois, I just prefer P&A personally.

I had similar issues in revamped. I felt like I couldn’t force it into tight windows whereas Placement and Accuracy I fire that bitch down that seam and aim it down and away from the safety and its money. I just couldn’t figure it out on Revamped. Props to those that have. But I’m sticking with P&A

Pretty sure on Placement and Accuracy you can hold down L2/LT and aim the ball pretty much anywhere outside of that circle too. Game changer

I’ve been doing that, but it’s very rare that’s it caught when it’s outside that circle. The meter is red/yellow more often than it is blue or green.

Depends on what you like out of football games. I like QBs to play like their ratings and classic does a better job of making that happen. Plus classic doesn't clutter the screen with that stupid meter.

I’m going to play with it this week and see.
I never got into the maddens because I hated the passing and wasn’t attached to the nfl.
Feels like on revamped the meter has to be going before their break. If it isn’t then your curl or hitch routes are getting picked for sure

but on that note, I really like the UT playbook. My favorite so far though has to be the jacksonville state playbook. A lot of creative routes

I haven't noticed that but have read it's common. I had a weird one last night. I have a fast senior HB that I start and have in the 3rd down RB. I signed a decent power back that I put in the power back role. Everything was going nice with my senior at 1100 yards and the freshman at 800.
Then in a late game the freshman had a run where he took a shot. Next play his backup was in and stayed in. Injury report showed nothing for him. But he also wasn't listed as an option under power back anymore. So for the last 3 games of the year, my nearly 1000 yard power back is only listed on the depth chart under RB...3rd down and Power he's not even an option after being the highest rated power back on my roster.
Still a great game so far. It's not perfect and I have some issues, but overall I'm having a blast. Probably helps that I almost never play defense, in this version or in past versions. I can go to a dynasty game and either pick Offense only or Play the Moments. Play the Moments is great when you have a good team and want to spend 5-10 minutes in a game to play some highlights. I just skip the defense opportunities. I can run through a week of recruiting and the game in 10-20 minutes, especially later in the season when the heavy lifting for recruiting is done.

Yes multiple times. Apparently if you edit a player that has the same number as another player, CJ Daniels & Perkins, one of their numbers will change. Daniels changed to 18 for me before I figured it out.
