Hate on it but I do enjoy the former players in the game and building a team. There is a rewarding element not buying packs and lucking into rare players in packs, similar to when a five star commits when you load to the next week.

How are ya'll defending against a good receiving TE? My buddy ends up with a TE with 2500yds receiving every year and none of us have figured put how to defend it

Depends on the TE and what your scheme is. I feasted with Kyle Pitts on Madden in whatever year his rookie year was. I’ve had a couple of guys win the Mackey award in my various dynasties.

Mostly just some prayers and an elite scoring offense

2K games are worse than EA games bruh lol

I don't know about that. The last few NBA lives EA made were so much worse compared to NBA 2k ones.

I’ve seen guys on Reddit say it took them like an absurd amount of 5 stars, like 19-20, just to get a top 5 class.

This literally never happened. Either they are lying or you are.

My fist year I had the #6 recruiting class with 2, 5 stars. My second year I have 7 5-stars, and I’m #1 by a mile. My recruiting class score is 279 to the 2nd place guy who is 239 (still championship game and offseason left).

You just have to be slightly intelligent in recruiting. Stop going after the top 30 overall. Go after the best recommended in your pipeline to start for your needs. First season I was kind of guessing, this season I dedicated all my time the first few weeks on 15-20 guys nearly maxing out all needs. After a few weeks and signing I’d spread out the recruiting time and once my needs were met, I’d go after bigger recruits. After week 7/8, I started to go after overall top players that were undecided. If you are recruiting a guy who is 85% decided and you are not in his top 8, you are wasting your time.

I realized after many seasons of decent but never great recruiting that wasting points on setting visits was causing me to lose players in the first 5-6 weeks. I’ve just focused on getting to the hard pitch as quickly as possible and now I’m getting commits before they even think about wanting to visit. Similarly to the post before mine, I’ve easily gotten a couple of top 5 classes with no more than 4-5 5 star players so anyone saying they have to get 15-20 are lying

This is what I do. The only time I do visits is if there is a player I really want and its close between me and another school.

Otherwise I am trying to hit the hard sell asap

I haven't seen hardly any (if at all) 5 star rated transfers in portal, but last night I snagged one, a LG from Illinois with a 93 rating.

Probably shouldn't surprise me it was a lineman since their ratings our super inflated compared to every other position, but Ill take it.

Another thing that irks me is I signed the top kicker in the class, even had the green gem after scouting, and he was a 63 overall. I had the punter do the kicking since he was so low and he redshirted. However he didn't progress a single point in the off-season and is still a 63.

Caleb Downs, Tarico Davis, Emory Jones, Earnest Greene, and Jeremiah Smith are almost always in the portal in my dynasties and they are usually 4-5 stars. Seen the Hairston kid from Kentucky a couple of times as well.

I believe it was my Hurricanes dynasty that Downs left Ohio State after one year, went to Clemson, then rather than going to the draft, he went to SMU (who I had moved to the Big 12). Dude was collecting checks in every conference before he went to the NFL

Sounds like NCAA 14 when Saban would retire after the first year or two.

Anybody watching real games and thinking how many interceptions there would be if CFB25 DBs were in the game jumping 5 ft in the air?

Nah. That's just EA being stupid. We didn't even get the mass sub option until last week.
