Man times are tough. Anyone played yet? Hoping the multiplayer is good. I've seen bad things about the campaign.

Battlefield 6 is this years preferred FPS. and even it is getting shite on now. can't imagine the hate BO7 will get.

that’s fair, wasn’t aimed at you.
I think people forget just how poorly previous BF title launches have gone. And how much needed to be tweaked/added/scrapped/overhauled from the other BF launches.
EA/Dice has been putting out almost a major patch a week at this point and we’re about to get our second content drop next week. They also released a fully functional BR and Campaign with BF6, where in the past it at times was just Multiplayer. I expected the BR to be a big pile of mehhh, but it’s actually grown on me quite a bit. They’ve done a good job of taking the best from Apex and Warzone, but also having classic battlefield destruction and vehicle gameplay mixed in. Gauntlet is also really fun game mode with a full squad on mics.
Still has some work to be done with bloom, aim assist, and balance. But overall, they are listening to the player base and getting out fixed quickly.

Back on topic: I see Activision is already waffling on their whole “minimal SBMM in public lobbies” promise for BO7. As recently as yesterday they backtracked to “some playlists will have limited SBMM.”
That’s a make-or-break issue for me.
I’m glad they brought back persistent lobbies, though. I can’t stand FPS games that dump you into a fresh lobby after every game. frick all that. If I lose a Demo game to a pack of sweats, I want my shot at revenge in the next one. To quote Legendary Crawfish Farmer, Ed Orgeron, “We coming. And we ain’t backing down”

Already traveled to New Zealand so I can play after work. I thought the Beta was awesome so I’m excited to play the full mapset.
I just wish they had Ranked ready with the initial release.

I'm too hooked on BF6 at the moment to fork out the $$ for COD BO7, maybe once the BF6 hype wears off for me.

Nah it's a BF6 world now. CoD is a ghost town.

I never bought BF6. With how little I'm actually able to play, I knew I wouldn't be able to be competitive. I need something more casual. I might try the BF6 BR though

Do you buy madden every year? COD is the same thing, reskinned trash.

We are all over in the BF6 and Arc Raiders thread.

I’m looking forward to CoD, haven’t played one since MW 2 remake. I like Treyarch campaigns and zombies. This one looks interesting and the slightly sci fi stuff gets my motor going.
Infinite Warfare is my favorite campaign for the modern CoD releases. Those side missions in the fighter/spaceship were awesome, I want a sequel or similar setting someday.
