The camera and controls....were always bad even before the ports.
As a kid Mario 64 controls and cameras made me want to punch my mom and sisters.

Will be a late year surprise. Book it.
Those who bought 3D All Stars will get it for free and those who didn't will probably have the option of purchasing the games individually, including Galaxy 2.

You can get GameCube controllers for the switch. I wonder if they would make it better. If I see a wireless GameCube styled one, I might grab it to see

God dammit...a nightmare from my youth has come back to Haunt me. I remember it took me forever to time the wall kick just right to get up on to Big Boo's balcony. I've tried it for a good 10 minutes this afternoon and still can't do it.

i'm gonna say it again....frick this game (64) and its requirements for wall kicks/jumps
I don't know if I'm struggling because of the handheld play/controls, but I can't make the jump to Boo's Balcony, and now I can't make the jump to get the star in the hazy maze/watch for rolling rocks.

playing 64 is definitely a walk down memory lane. other than my rage with the wall kicks, I am actually surprised how quickly I am able to go get many of the stars. I remembered a lot of specific details even though I haven't played this game in 20 years.

I’m in the low 50s right now. Got the 6 stars in stages 1-7 and now working on the rest while sporadically going for 100 coins when I get bored
