And for that matter, do you really think that if EA, as an example, says hell no we aint lowering our prices, that MS would do anything about it?
You could replace MS with Sony in that same question.

Maybe Sony's stance reflects this.

Found this on a giantbomb forum, taken from EGM.

I don't have that much experience with motion games though. Not my cup of tea.
Motion games could be fun but I don't think Sony or MS have found the balance in them from being just absurd to actually being enjoyable.

Why do you have so much faith that MS will actually lower shite?
Why are you so confident they won't?

If MS tries and even gives EA the avenue to lower prices and still make the same if not more money is it really MSs fault if EA refuses?

And the technology just hasn't been there. We'll see if this new higher resolution Kinect camera is able to move that forward or not.
I have my doubts.

Some of the stuff I have heard are pretty cool.
Like a zombie game being able to react to your heart rate
tapping the side of your head to turn on night vision goggles
Lift your controller up to pull a shield up
Lean left and right to lean in the game

Of course you could, but my statement was in regard to just trusting that game prices would lower when games are all digital.
I still contend that MS should lower prices NOW on digital downloads and then the used games would just dry up themselves.
I'd buy every new game digital starting today if they were $10 less. Most people would taking thousands of new game discs off the market.
They are asking us to trust them, and Stout apparently does, I ask why?

I'm not confident they won't. They very well may. I just think they are going about it arse backwards and asking us to trust them instead of giving up a few dollars of revenue themselves to kick start the digital age.

If 4 or 5 major publishers decide that no they will not lower prices on digital downloads MS is not going to lower their own price, they won't do it.

I don't trust MS blindly as you think. I trust the model because it already exist and thrives on Steam.
MS is the only console saying they want to get to the same place as Steam using the same model.
At least there is a shot on Xbox. Sony left zero chance of that happening on their console because a used games market and the Steam model can not coexist.

We know. You've stated it a million times.

if they said we are taking these steps to make games cheaper from the start i would have already pre-ordered
No you wouldn't. You've already stated everyone in your friends list is switching to PS4 and that's why you are as well.
You're just still finding reasons to complain about MS. I'd probably hold a grudge too if I felt forced to switch to tPS4.

Did they announce digital pricing or incentives yet for the One? I must have missed it.
Besides, anything this big takes time to get there. There are a lot more complications to it than just saying "OK here are cheaper games"
The MS engineer even said as much from my thread the other day. It's a fine line as he stated.
Steam didn't get there overnight either.

If we are going to discuss things you are at least going to have to use English. I have no idea WTF this means.

Stupid example is stupid, Xbox one is an inferior product. Those examples don't encompass that idea.
Question: HOW DO YOU REALLY KNOW THIS RIGHT NOW WITHOUT EVER USING EITHER SYSTEM?

why tho? you obviously hate and don't trust M$, why waste your money then?
i don't think anyone on the GB is going to lose any sleep on not getting to listen to you complain about your One over Xbox Live party chat.

honestly, i think you're full of shite.
you'll say you have one, so you can act like you have a non-biased opinion on the Gaming Board,
but really you'll just be reading reddit posts on how people who actually have One's are having problems or aren't a fan.
so you're opinion then will be as equally valued as it is now.
well I'm sure your trust level with M$ is a real determining factor in their future plans.
