I just know that you are almost 15 years younger than me, and I grew up with the SNES and the N64. Well, the 64 was a big part of my college days, so maybe.

Launch games are full price on steam. You can find sites that sell cd keys for cheaper. I don't think that can ever be an option for consoles.
