They are OK now. But Beyond Light is their next expansion. if that doesn't do well they yea..i think they are in some trouble.

So hey, Mr Postman, you seem to have a better eye on this than I do...do you know anything about Microsoft Game Studios' "Initiative" studio? I REALLY want to know what that studio is working on. They have made some pretty decent hires.

I don't know. They keep releasing bits and pieces and new hires make tweets talking about how they can't disclose anything about the project.
They made some pretty big hires in August.
There was a rumor that it was going to be an open world rpg type game and other vague stuff that could mean literally anything so I'm totally lost.

Microsoft's intention with The Initiative is to build a Naughty Dog type studio. Stacked with talent with a near limitless budget to build whatever they want.
It's rumored at this point that they're working on a 3rd person Perfect Dark.

I guess that could be cool, but it's hard for me to get up on a shooter game. I'd feel let down if that's what is coming from them.

Microsoft, please take creative and development control for Fallout away from Bethesda and give it to Obsidian where it belongs and demand a New Vegas remaster for summer 2022 and a New Vegas 2 by Holiday 2023.

There was some talk a few months ago about Sony trying to purchase MGS, Silent Hill, and Castlevania, but nothing came of that. Konami itself is doing fine, they just don't care about video games anymore.
