A couple of online retailers have now listed the upcoming Mass Effect: Legendary Edition for release on 12th March 2021.
EA is yet to officially announce a date for its remastered Mass Effect trilogy pack beyond a vague spring window but, barring any further delays, Eurogamer understands the above date to currently be accurate.

We're yet to see how much of a remaster the Legendary Edition will be, but hopefully an impending release date announcement means we'll get our first look at gameplay very soon.
Back in November, BioWare announced the Legendary Edition with word that it would feature updated "textures, shaders, models, effects and technical features" as well as all single-player DLC and promotional packs, remastered for 4K Ultra HD.
"Our goal was not to remake or reimagine the original games, but to modernize the experience so that fans and new players can experience the original work in its best possible form," BioWare boss Casey Hudson said at the time.

I’m mostly excited for a revamped ME1. It’s probably my favorite story in the series, and was really only held back by some wonky gameplay choices (that ME2 later improved). I’m sure they won’t fix all of the Mako, gunplay, and texture/uncanny valley issues, but I’m pretty jazzed about this rerelease.

Is this a repaint job or along with improved graphics have they tweaked in some quality of life changes?

I've never been more excited to replay a game than I am with ME2.
Truly one of the GOATs. Thane Krios ftw

I don't think we know just yet. Like the link said, with it coming in the next couple of months we're sure to finally see some video of it.
I own 2 on steam, but my days of KB/M are done with, and to get to play this game on my PC with full controller support will be nice.
ETA Is it confirmed that it will even be on PC?

The melt on this board when ME3 dropped was fantastic. Maybe worse than the Cyberpunk melt.

Am I the only one that thought mass effect 3 was perfect? An I mean truly perfect? Yea it's a totally different experience from ME1&2 but the way the story flowed during that level of crisis and the impending doom that was literally on the horizon was absolutely perfect. More side stuff and characters etc would have pulled away from the urgency at hand and the absolutely immediate threat that was in front of you. I never though shepard would survive the onslaught of reapers by the end of the game and was lifes last hope of survival at all costs. I feel like a true happy ending would have discredited just how unbelievable the odds were to even stop the reapers.

The journey of ME3 was by and large spectacular, but a lot of people, myself included, couldn’t get over the fact that the ultimate choice of your grand space opera boiled down to what color filter you wanted over your ending cinematic.
I don’t know many people that think ME3 itself was a bad title (Scruffy inbound), but when EA was marketing “a gajillion different endings,” the endings we got weren’t what most people had in mind. Felt similar to the way GoT ended in that regard.
The extended edition and Citadel DLC helped soothe the ruffled feathers of most of the fan base, but I feel like EA and BioWare really missed an opportunity to stick the landing.

Yessir:
"It will be available in Spring 2021 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, with forward compatibility and targeted enhancements on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5."

In motherfricking ultra high def. What a time to be alive
Then again, after playing Andromeda, I have feelings about there being no actual nudity in the original trilogy...
