Hopefully Casey Hudson is still involved so we can get another underwhelming ending.
I'd hate for it to feel too "video-gamey".
I was always fond of biowares ability to throw out the baby with the bath water whenever they did their massive overcorrections to flawed game elements.
Mako was kinda meh? Gone.
Baby reaper seemed a little silly? How about a cutscene instead of an endboss. I'll take baby reaps over star child any day.

I still have them for my PS3. I wish they would remaster them. I have only played the first one, but enjoyed it.
