Man, Bungie was incredible with Halo

Listening to the Halo 2 soundtrack just reminds me of how insanely good the Original Trilogy was. I got into gaming later than most people. Halo CE was really the game that got me into it. Because of that I guess Halo is very important to me.

I played some regular halo. I really got into it during halo 2. I was apart of that huge montage community. I had itwasluck, one of the ogre brothers, karma, and a very big but not pro montage maker on my friends list. I seriously at the time considered being more of a try hard so i could get into the MLG scene, but high school n shite.

The first Halo is the best I think. It's like the Star Wars A New Hope of FPS games in that it's part of a trilogy but can be played/enjoyed as a standalone game.

4 and 5 are some of the worst games ive ever played. 343 doesnt have a clue

The campaigns in those games were weak, no doubt, but the multiplayers were pretty damn addicting.

Halo 4 is fricking citizen kane compared to how bad Halo 5 is.
Its not as good as previous halo games, thats the only reason it got hate.
And then Bungie ruined their company with two horrible destiny games. Should have stayed with microsoft.

5 sucks but I've logged 500 hours into it because Halo is the very center of my gaming world.
Hoping Halo Infinite shakes up the franchise a bit.

I never was a huge multiplayer Halo fan, but I remember how Xbox Live was blocked on our community college network yet you could still plug your ethernet cable into your Xbox 360 and play over the LAN. There were always people playing Halo 3 no matter what time or day.
Didn't Halo 4's multiplayer almost kill the franchise? I feel like 4 had a stronger single player than 5 though.

Did it? I thought there was a decent player base for 4. It really wasn't bad (multiplayer wise)
Maybe it was Reach? I know a bunch of people hated Reach.

I don't know. I played it briefly via the MC, and it felt like CoD in space.
I feel like Halo 5 MP is a return to form. Never gonna capture the Halo 2 and 3 days though.

Eh, outside of the loadouts, the gameplay really isn't that far off from core halo. Yes the abilities are a different, and I can completely understand if people didn't like those. I didn't mind them at all. Gameplay wise me and my friends had a ton of classic Halo type experiences playing 4.

I can't recall exactly but my highest rank was one of the moons (Just BXR everyone)--probably was in team doubles as my friend and I would go to local events and sweep everyone as 12 year olds
. I remember moving up in the 40s was incredibly hard. Team SWAT was also amazing. The last shooter I enjoyed like H2 was MW2

Halo Reach is my favorite campaign to play through. Not the best story of the games but the most fun campaign for me.

Halo 2 lan in the dorms is still my favorite gaming memories. Hearing that voice say slayer at the beginning takes me back.

Halo 3 was the first Halo game I played and I loved it, got me into the Halo franchise really.
