Just started playing Destiny 2

And I love it. I know this game has been out for years and all, but I never knew anything about it. Been trying to find a game to waste tine on, but nothing has impressed me. My two types of games rolled in one... rpg with quests and dungeons and fps. Love it. I'm still trying to understand the game. Had no idea it was this big and had all these system and gameplay mechanics.
I have no friends on this game, so if anyone out there wants to friend me, I'd love running stuff with ya. I'm only at Rank 16 (didnt know how the leveling system worked for a while. I was just gearing up and farming) and powerlevel 1514.

My honest advice, if you are looking to be META and have months/YEARS to dedicate to the game…go ahead
If you just want to have fun for a while…go ahead
If you have limited time, don’t like being manipulated, have addictive issues, or just want to come out the gate swinging - walk away now

Yep, couldn’t get my friends to play during warzone lulls because it takes too long to be properly geared

I got into destiny 1 about a year before D2 came out and it was a pretty great experience. I had friends playing and that helped alot. You're getting in a good time. Find a group to play with, you've got a years worth of shite to do

Been playing destiny since day 1. You’ve made both the worst and best decisions of your life. This world really has been such a great journey. Just enjoy the ride, for all its flaws and magnificent moments.

I got the itch the other day and fired it up. Had to get used to controller because my computer isn't set up yet, but it was pretty effortless.

This season has definitely had the fastest burnout/break time for our clan. They need to change this power climb just for gm's only to reset shortly thereafter loop we're in. Still fun to us but the cracks are showing big time.

I agree. I haven't been playing past the pinnacle cap. I also have no desire to grind for certain weapons. Maybe its just me.
