Where is the 4K Blu-ray optical drive and OS?

Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 1660 Super 6 GB SC ULTRA GAMING Video Card

According to Tom's Hardware that card is inferior to the 1070.

The real question should be what you were doing in a Gamestop? It's not 2002 anymore.

I have never paid for Windows and that's the wonderful world of PC, you have all the 4k blu-ray content very easily accessible on this wonderful thing called the internet

So you're fine with having less than 500gb for your hard drive?

That "case" is actually just the window for the case.

I picked up my One X for 350.00. You can find them now for as low as 250.00. For that price its a pretty capable 4 K gaming machine that also serves as good home theater media player. In those two roles, judging just performance,(not throwing in the value of owning a pc over console..just performance) the One X is just as good or imo better than the build you posted and cheaper.

You realize PC gamers use their SSD for their OS, programs, and some game installs right? I only keep my most played games on SSD. Aside from my 500GB SSD, I have two 2TB HDDs.

Give me access to second hand parts and I could build a much better PC then the one I did. I could probably build the one I did for sub $350 second hand

I only use SSDs.

Back when I had a 240gb SSD in my HTPC, I would just uninstall/reinstall games as I played them. Usually takes about 10 minutes to install games with my internet. Now I have a 1tb SSD in my HTPC, so I don't have to worry about it at all

But that is a poor comparison. We're reaching a point of diminishing returns. We arguably have been since the PS2 days.

I don't agree with anything you said.

Some PS2 games and most PS3 games have aged very well from a gameplay and visual standpoint. That is why remasters are so prevalent with this generation of consoles.

Then why remaster them? Could have just emulated them instead of rebuilding on modern engines.

they do charge a good bit for these systems when they're new and they aren't up to snuff with even a comparable PC

Idk about you but I've had a PS4 and Pro since launch and the amount of those blue screen error crashes in games is a frick ton.

As far as use for an HTPC.... yea I mean your build didnt play physical media right? I guess I'm old school...hell I still get Netflix Blu Rays delivered in red envelopes

As far as games I'm guessing your build would be a very nice 1080p machine...running 4 k in low-mid settings? Not knocking it...really would like to move on (or back actually) to PC s at some point.
