Considering that BotW looks great on the Switch, I wasn't expecting this to look like pre-production graphics renderings.

Based on that walk through trailer, it reminds me of Kingdoms of Amalur.

I'm several hours in on the switch and loving it. I can't compare it to other consoles, but it runs just fine for me. It's not quite as perfect as BOTW (one of my all time faves) but it's a really solid game. I would recommend it, even on switch.

Yea, the game's grown on me a lot. It really is exactly what you'd think it is, Breath of the Wild on a much larger scale with a lot of hack and slash fighting. Even the narration's grown on me as they cover a ton of Greek mythology that I read a ton of as a kid.

The controls are still pretty annoying at times, and it has crashed on me twice so far, but it's well worth it.

There are some points in the game where you team up with random soldiers, and they'll stick around in that area if you kill all of the monsters before the soldiers all die. They'll make a couple of random comments, and one of them took a shot at BotW that was pretty funny: "My weapon keeps breaking. Am I using it wrong?"

I think I am just getting to this part. I already made it to the Gods place way up on the hill and changed my skin color.

There is no real quests marked now so I am random.

Had 2 guys recommend this to me at work randomly, thinking of getting it to have something to play until CP gets fixed, verdict still solid?

It's only $39.99 at walmart

May get this with Christmas money. Should do Ps4/ps5 or Switch. May do Playsation then get Hyrule Warriors for Switch.

Watching videos online I couldn't tell much difference on the Switch but I think y'all convinced me to go Playsation.

Picked this up on Stadia tonight. It's fun as hell. The tongue in cheek narration by Zeus and Prometheus cracks me up at times.

after the first hour, hour and a half it goes from ok game to very good game

The pace and leveling up is great, it is a like they took the things I hated about assassins creed games and swapped them with botw to hit the sweet spot

I've been playing this game more than Cyberpunk, Squadrons and AC Valhalla. I like the commentary between Zeus and Prometheus. You have to know your mythology to get some of the jokes they throw out there

It's like someone said earlier in this thread. They basically took out everything I hated about AC and put in stuff from Breath of the Wild. Obviously it's not a perfect game (the voice acting leaves some to be desired) but it's a VERY fun game. They knocked it out of the park

Just got to Aphrodite's palace and did a bunch of stuff there. This game has me feeling like I did when I played Breath of the Wild
