Did not know that. I just assumed they did the former.
No. When Activision refused to pay out the bonuses it wasn't just the studio founders they screwed. It was a lot of the top talent who were entitled to portions of those bonuses as well. In response to this a lot of those people left as soon as Respawn was up and running and joined up. It's also why Sledgehammer had to help IW finish MW3 because IW had a skeleton crew after the mass exodus.

you would think. I had a mega boner for arkham city, but this one has me very cautious
the combat, graphics, gameplay and voice acting are there in the demos...I'm at 100%
no rocksteady, which only has me concerned because of the content to be found in the city. The first two games had a nice touch. Every room had some little nod to the comics and it was very detailed
no paul dini...I do not know how good the story will be
I'm probably at about 60% of the excitement i had for city, which met and surpasses all expectations. We'll see. If this game were a ps4 exclusive and the reviews were universal that it is the best of the series, I'd go preorder a ps4 right now.

Some people just have that sort of talent and I think Jason West and Vince Zampella have that sort of talent in making a good FPS
West left Respawn and apparently hasn't had anything to do with Titanfall. Even before he officially left in March, he was MIA from the building.
I doubt it will affect the final product but it is noteworthy.
I'm glad Respawn is focusing all of their efforts on multiplayer and I wish some other dev houses would do this as well. Hopefully Titanfall is the push to make other developers realize it's ok.

Check out the super awesome specs on that bad boy
Nice! My parents bought me my first real PC when I was in 9th grade. It had an original Pentium in it running at 60 MHz and 8 MB of ram. I also remember that Gateway accidentally put a 2X CD-Rom drive in it instead of the 4X we ordered and my dad had to call them to get it swapped out.
I remember reading in PC Gamer that they were running Mech Warrior 2 on a Pentium 120 MHz and I was SO jealous.
It still played it decently, though.

I am thinking in terms of the quantity of awesome games.
I get what you are saying now. There are very few games worth buying an entire console for. It takes several great titles.
Personally, I think both of these consoles will eventually have a suite of must play games for them, but it is a slight financial leap of faith.

Saw some article a while back, probably around E3, saying that West was flaky and didn't come in to work much at all. Not sure if he left or was told to take a hike.

It's just another shooter I'll never play IMO

Definitely looks like a fun game. Hopefully they dont go crazy with the COD similarities though.
It looks like it is coming to PS4 and I will definitely be picking it up if it does.

I wouldn't mind it. They made my 2 personal favorite COD games.
It seems like the biggest thing they are trying to obtain is balance. Where you can choose to run around in a Titan or jetpack and wall run as a soldier and not feel like you are at a disadvantage in any way.

Maybe the console launch, but I doubt it'll be game of the year.
I agree.

Hell, there's even a better looking mech game coming out in the same year
I disagree.
Besides, that's a JRPG. Even if both games have mechs, comparing that to a fast paced FPS is like comparing apples to a multiplayer apple with much better graphics and completely different gameplay.

That game looks like shite. I don't care what platforms it is or isn't available for. Looks like crap.

You're not very good at this. You have tried and tried and tried to no avail. Figured I would just to tell you to stop to save you from further embarrassment.
You're welcome.

I think the COD-esque games are ruined whether it is more similar to the better COD games or not.

As long as they make it less noob friendly and without overlypowerful stackable killstreaks...I'm in.
