Yea I didn't mean this year because even if it came out the day the Xbone does people's minds will already be made up for their GOTY. I should have clarified.

I also think GOTY is stupid since so many people hand it out. There has to be over 500 of them given out now from multiple sources. When I mean GOTY I mean for me personally hence the title "I feel like..."

I also count anything releasing within a few months as being a launch game.

Titanfall? Not my cup of tea, but I can at least see the intrigue.

Maybe we will get a room, what are you going to do about it? Then we will play all the goty titles from 2012 which is about 50. I saw dishonored is releasing a goty version. I never heard them mentioned for this until now.

No. It's the people that made CoD and are most known for CoD4 and MW2.

Destiny is another one that hasn't grabbed me, go figure. I am looking forward to the division though.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with 2 consenting adults getting a room together so they can play video games.

And I still need to play Dishonored. I just finished Bioshock Infinite and am still thinking about it. Was considering starting a discussion thread on it but I know I'm pretty late to the party on that one and everything worth saying has probably already been said.

Destiny is a game I will have to see a lot on before it has me sold. Its a coin flip right now IMO whether it will be good or not

Plus, if there is one studio that knows how to make a good MP shooter besides Dice, it's Respawn. They are also great at implementing an arcade type of fun into their games.

Respawn has never made a game besides Titanfall. The founders were responsible for CoD at Infinity Ward, but that's two different things.

We can discuss bioshock in our room... or you can start another thread on it. Whatever works for you

The devs themselves have said the Xbone version will have more to it just because of the cloud.

Which is silly because the 360 and PC versions will both use the cloud in some fashion.

Im undecided on this game. It has sooooo much I despise...lazers, wall running, superjumping, futuristic weapons, AI or player controlled ,possibly OP machines, to be camped on.
But it is the original IW peoples and they made a top notch MP game.

Im more interested in a couple other games that are under construction that are more my style.

The Division and Titanfall could be some really quality games to start off the next gen.

I'm not high on Watch Dogs and even though I know I'll love Battlefield 4, I don't think it'll be a game of the year type game. It'll do everything very well, but nothing extraordinary.

my first PC gaming experience was good ole Mech Warrior 2

That game was a lot of fun. I remember back when *that* was the game that showed you how powerful your PC was. It's funny to look back on it now and see how simplistic the graphics are.

Also, it had a great soundtrack that played right off the CD. That was novel for the time.
